The pups need exercise and between the weather and the fact that the outside pen is not quite ready for them to explore yet, I now open up the x-pen door and let them play in the entire puppy room. They love checking things out and chasing each other. I have kept the doggie door flap off so that they can 'smell' the outside. Soon, they will be using it. I just need more time to prepare that area for them.
Here some of them are looking over the little wagon. I did have it filled with toys, but they are elsewhere. Wonder how they got out????
They ADORE the cardboard tunnel and run through it and around it. Chewing it is also a great past-time. :+)
The step is one of their favorite places to be. First of all, it makes them higher and that gives them a feeling of importance. It is also a chew toy and the corners share the history of many previous litters.
Thankfully, they are also using the potty boxes quite well now. Less mistakes. :+)
And after all that running, chasing and chewing.......
