We have had a busy couple of days. Yesterday the pups all had their eye CERF's in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Everyone did very well on the ride there and back and had very good exams. Very little whining was heard and some actually enjoyed looking out the back window of the wagon. I use a 24 inch x-pen and make a 'fence' in my car by folding down the backseats and lining the area with hospital pads so any accidents don't ruin my wagon's interior. I put in one of the potty boxes and we go in style! There is plenty of room for sitting or lying down and a 'portable bathroom' for their use! :+)
Today, we did the same thing but went in the other direction to visit my vet in Rochester, New Hampshire where they had their first DHPP vaccine. Again, a great trip.
For their good behavior and stoic acceptance of the 'big, bad needle', we came home to some yummy chicken bones and fun in the playground! They LOVED running in the grass and checking out the acorns, sticks, tire bumper, etc. They will sleep well tonight.
The oddball chocolate and white pup is, of course, Dancing Matilda who is quite comfortable with the group.
They love all the space to roam.
Lots to sniff!
They checked out every nook and cranny!
Something here was very interesting.
Mr. Spot aka 'REUBEN JAMES' eyeing his playground prize.
Mr. Navy aka 'SEAMUS' enjoying the coolness of the grass.
Miss Kelly Green aka 'FINLEY' is demonstrating her Pilate's pose!
Miss Lavender aka 'RILEY' has found a stick and a cool spot to enjoy it.
Miss Rose aka 'CAMDEN ROSE' is also happily romping in the grass.
Miss Pumpkin aka 'STELLA' is taking it all in.
Miss Fudge aka 'EMME' (pronounced like the letters for the abbreviation for Maine - VERY CLEVER!!) looks like she is sitting on a bench in a park watching the world go by.
