We are 7 weeks old on the Fourth of July weekend!

Isn't it wonderful to be celebrating the pups seventh week marker on our nation's birthday? I am doubly excited because the weather is soooo perfect for all the parades, fireworks, vacationers and vendors.

The puppies have been having so much fun this week enjoying their small tunnel until it was totally destroyed, using the doggie door like champions, staying cool under the awning outside as well as easing up on biting.

Just remember that what I write about these pups is 'an opinion' not a certified assessment. Personalities evolve and change many times over the weeks and environment is a huge factor in how your pup will develop with you through your interaction with them.

Here is the boss lady. Green Girl
is full of confidence and loves being in the middle of everything. An active girl that will enjoy lots of activities but not hyper. 7 & 3/4 lbs.

Red Girl seems to be a very compliant puppy. She does not run up to you right away like the others, but is so content to simply 'wait to be discovered'.
5 & 1/4 lbs.

Teal Boy is a happy, waggly-tailed kind of guy. Always investigating and curious. I find him inside the puppy room resting under the fan while the others are outside. 6 & 3/4 lbs.

Another friendly, 'me, me' pup that loves, loves, LOVES to have his belly rubbed. Black Boy's manner is sweet and easy going. 6 & 3/4 lbs.

Blue Boy enjoys being part of a group. He plays and interacts very well. He is soft without being shy. Seems to simply enjoy life in general. 6 & 1/4 lbs.

Purple, or Lavender Girl, whichever you choose to call her is another middle of the road pup. Easy going but not shy, sweet but not a pushover a very willing participant for belly rubs. I find it rather funny that both she and Black Boy hang around together - almost like twins. 6 & 3/4 lbs.

  1. Hi Joyce,

I had a minute of cumputer time and knew you would show some red white and blue spirit with your current pups! I see what you mean about the blacks..stunning. We have had a great day at the beach and pool with Lexi and are now heading out for ice-cream. Lexi is excited about the ride but rather discouraged that mom says "no" on the ice-cream for her. :)
Happy 4th to our doodle family!
