I am very happy to say that upon palpation, my vet did feel 'nuggets' in Olive. This in no way indicates how many pups she may be carrying, but at least we have confirmation that she will be whelping some.
Me, too! We all will wait the arrival of this fab litter! It has been a while since I have had blacks in a litter and you know they are my favorite color. :+)
Well, I don't think that is going to happen, Alysen! She is happily eating her dinner and prior to that, we shared a bowl of popcorn. It would be nice if she waited until our late season snowstorm finishes. Nothing is worse than having a dam going out at least 4 times an hour due to pressure. There will be non-stop toweling to keep her from being too damp! Waiting, waiting, waiting.....
Amazing news!! We cannot wait to meet those spring puppies! Is there a suggested due date?
ReplyDeleteLike with human babies, we are never certain but the 'stork' should make a stop around March 3rd. :+)
DeleteHooray! We are stoked. :)

DeleteI love the blacks too. Looking forward to watching this litter.
DeleteLooking forward to following those black puppies. They are all adorable, but I really love the shiny black ones. Felix continues to shine in our eyes.
DeleteTell Olive Leap Day puppies would be wonderful! :)

ReplyDeleteOk on second thought, she should wait until the weather is better! :)
