We are still waiting for pups to arrive....

Although Tate's temp is beginning to lower slightly and her appetite is waning dramatically, I don't expect pups soon but perhaps by tonight or tomorrow.  She IS showing nesting behavior with the re-arranging of the towels in the whelping box, so not much longer!

  1. Still waiting and waiting.....tomorrow is 63 days from ovulation and most of my breeder friends claim that is when they will arrive. Maybe a daytime birth, wouldn't that be nice?

    1. Yes, you deserve a nice, civilized early afternoon birth, I think. You'll have time to have a nice, leisurely breakfast, a light lunch, and you'll be through the birthing and all cleaned up in time for a (not too late) dinner, that your loving and appreciative husband will have either cooked, or ordered and picked up lol!

  4. I will have to keep that in mind when I name the pups I am keeping back for guardian homes. :+) Names that mean kindness, courage, nobility, strength, intelligence or peace.

  9. Ramesses??? Now, that is a mouthful Very 'medieval' sounding. Could not do Riley as it is way too popular for dogs, do like the name though. :+)

    1. Would Victoria be regal, using Tory as a nickname?

    4. How about Tully for a boy? Meaning is peaceful. By the way..this is passing the time better than that string game around the belly and that yucky baby food tasting game lol Sit Tully Tabor!

  10. Ha, ha. I have my name for a boy already but not sharing it yet. It actually means 'gentle/kind' which to me are very nice attributes for a guardian home male to have. :+)

I want to be sure I have a boy born that is worth keeping before bestowing the name. Ha!
