These babies have their eyes open but still have a bluish film on them which will go away very soon. They bark, or rather mewl when hungry or frightened; sometimes they sound like a siren when truly unhappy - yikes! They are gaining very well and are even using the litter box with a pee pad in it - good boys and girls. :+)
Figgy continues to mother them well and is protective if Tate's pups get too near, so I am very careful to be sure Tate's pups are in their pen behind a locked gate before letting Figgy in to nurse - revolving doors around here.
This coming week will have a huge evolution - from that neonatal to little dog stage. Then the fun pics start.

Oh we are giddy in Hampton Falls! These babies are so adorable! You have outdone yourself with the photos Joyce..love the little "polaroid" effect and the ribbons and blankets..oh my please know all of your efforts are so so much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the compliments, now picture taking will get REALLY interesting because both litters are going to be 'full 'o'beans' on the next picture day. I better start training for the triathalons to keep up. :+)
