Clary and her babies see the vet!

Another busy morning and a couple of vet runs.  Although there is great controversy about removing dew claws on puppies, I always do.  There are good reasons to keep them and just as good a reason to remove them.  Since my vets are fine with their removal to prevent snagging on branches and brush as well as groomers not nicking them during a grooming that is what I opt for.  At the same time, my vet checks for cleft palates and abnormalities and Mom gets a once over to be sure plenty of milk is being produced and she is not in any distress.

The vet techs love working with these tiny babies as you can see.  :+)
