We are EIGHT WEEKS old and getting ready for our new homes next week! (ELSIE3 X DUCKIE)
Oh boy, a lot of our appointments are now behind this litter with one exception - their vaccines on Monday! Their bags are nearly packed for their new owners, paperwork is being prepared for their take home booklets and they have been assigned, accepted and named!
Here are these little darlings this week:
VIOLET is like her namesake (a bit shy) and will be with a savvy, dog experienced home where she will gain confidence and thrive. Thank you Jennifer and Luc! 5 3/4 lbs. |
Oh the fun the Cook Family will have with their latest addition - COOKIE! I am sure Pumpkin and Cookie will keep the family laughing and busy! 6 3/4 lbs. |
And little EMMA will get tons of snuggles and pats from the Davis' who will enjoy Emma's sweet, gentle and adorable demeanor. 4 1/2 lbs. |

Off for another appointment today! Elsie3 x Duckie Litter.
This afternoon, the pups enjoyed their travels to the Port City Vet Referral Hospital in Portsmouth, NH. They all had an appointment with the eye vet to be sure there was no eye issues that could be a vision issue in their future.
Naturally, the staff flocked to gather them up into their arms for cuddles and kisses - it never fails. :+) They were so good in the car once again and enjoyed their adventure today. All are good! No eye disease that will ever impair their vision in the future.
They just crack me up when they do this. It stops everyone in their tracks as they come over to 'oooh and ahhhh' over them - such people magnets! |

Temperament Test Day! Elsie3 x Duckie
Up early and had the pups fed, outside for potty, inside for a brushing, nail & eye trim and into my 'pup prepared' vehicle. They were excellent riders for the hour long drive.
Once there, I placed them into my collapsable pen (when not in use) and nary a sound was made when the first pup went for her test. I keep the pups in my trainers garage where it is cool. :+)
All in all, the pups did very well and slept all the way home. A good day!!
TEAL GIRL:
Once placed in the room, Teal happily greeted Judy with a wagging tail and lots of curiosity. She navigated the room and all the different 'tools' like a sailor on a ship. |
I think playing 'fetch' is going to be a game that Teal will enjoy very much. :+) |
Violet waiting patiently while Judy pats and massages her before tossing the ball. |
Coral thought the Singing Santa was for her entertainment and enjoyed listening. She is very able to handle lots of different sounds and environments. |
Yup, Coral marched into the strange environment, pranced right up to Judy and seemed to say.... 'So, what do you want to do?' |
Ruby wants to be by her people. She LOVES people over all things - treats, toys, etc. |

I'm late, I'm late for a very important date....... Elsie 3 x Duckie Litter at 7 weeks!
A take from Alice and Wonderland but it fit my day!
Our grand-daughters continue to entertain the pups daily (as well as keep me busy). :+) Numerous belly rubs abound along with lots of pony tail chewing and 'toe' sampling!
My Temperament Test was changed to Tuesday this week, so I am hoping the write ups will be sent to me by the weekend (or with any luck at all - earlier). On Wednesday, the pups go for their eye exams in the afternoon. On the 29th, they have their vaccines, Health Certificates and Microchips. Busy days ahead!

Just because these are soooo cute!! Elsie(3) x Duckie litter
Our grand-daughters will be leaving soon and the highlight of their day is to visit with the puppies. They are here nearly every day and always look forward to giving the pups lots of attention.
Just thought I would share.

Two armfuls of sweetness! |
Can the smile be any brighter? |
Our girls will be gone at about the same time the pups are being picked up. So glad they have had the pleasure of enjoying this litter grow up. Thank you to their father, Joshua, for sending these pics!

SIX WEEKS PICS ARE UP! (Elsie x Duckie Litter)
Yea! I can hardly believe it - I finally was able to get pics up in the morning!! The pups all had eye and nail trims and were pretty darn good about being cooperative during our photo session. Something must be in the air! :+)
'So, where are we going shopping today?' Teal Girl at 3 3/4 lbs. |
'Home Depot? Awwww... I was hoping for T.J. Maxx.' Ruby at 3 1/8 lbs. |
'Oh goodie! Let's go!' Coral Girl is 4 1/4 lbs. |
'Can we stop at Pet Smart for a new toy? Please?' Violet Girl is 4 lbs. |

FIVE WEEKS and being introduced to the outside pup pen! Elsie3 x Duckie Litter
A few days ago, I was sanitizing the outside pup pen to get it ready for the current litter. Today, it was not too hot to put them in the pen for the first time. Initially, they were rather scared and upset but before long, they had found their comfort zone.
Saturdays are such busy days around here. I always try to get the pics up in the morning but having four grand-daughters here all day makes for limited computer time!
I should mention that one of the girls below is available for a home due to a change of plans from the original buyer. I don't know which one it will be yet as assignments have not been made, but if you are open to any of them, please send in an application! :+)
Here are some pics below:

Miss Violet is picture perfect! 3 3/4 lbs. |
I had to wake up Miss Coral to take her pic but she was very accommodating. 4 lbs. |

First visitors!!
This morning our grand-daughters returned from a week away and could not wait to visit with Elsie's pups! The pups did very well and are looking forward to another visit later today when they return from summer camp.
I sure hope all the families getting one of these pups will visit as often as possible! In the meantime, I am sure our grand-daughters will keep them entertained! :+)
As you can see, Elsie has to be included in the mix. She loves to be the center of attention!!
Also, the pups had their first milk mix meal this morning! They are on the way to their next growth stage!
