On my way home with mom and pup, another was born in the car. I had to keep stopping every five minutes or so to check to be sure all was well. We are now home and settled in the whelping box and just waiting for the rest to be born. How nice of Pearl to give me a daylight litter!!!
I believe Pearl is done. The x-ray said 5 and 5 it is! Two girls and three boys. I am not closing the cover on this book because many times, a 'Johnny Come Lately' is born! Here is the lowdown:
- 2:15 pm - Black Collar Male/caramel in color
- 2:45 pm - Rainbow Collar Female/caramel in color
- 3:10 pm - Green Collar Male/caramel in color
- 4:20 pm - Purple Female/caramel ice in color
- 5:00 pm - Teal Collar Male/caramel ice in color
A vet appointment is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. I just want to be sure all is as it should be. Then I will contact my client list in Pearl's folder and see if these pups are all sold or if some are available.
Such a good mama, our Pearl! What an exciting day for our household. I half expected you to arrive with a flashing red light on the top of your car, Joyce. But you were spot on correct. Pearl knew exactly what to do. Now we can all rest.
ReplyDeletePearl is really doing well - relaxed, attentive, happily eating and rushing indoors like a freight train after relieving herself. She is doing just fine with the 'household' girls and not stressed at all.
ReplyDeleteWe go to the vets this afternoon for all to be checked but they look great to me! Such beautiful coats on these pups.
I'm so happy to hear that she is relaxed and getting along well and with everyone. We miss her, but she's obviously in the right hands! I have this lingering feeling that I need to take her out to pee!
ReplyDeleteHer belly is empty now so the pressure is off. She has been doing great with pottying and had a 'nice' poop this morning. She is loving the chicken necks.
