Before everyone starts crying.... Otis is just fine. :+) He does play and he can drink water and when he eats, I take it off. If he would stop trying to lick his surgical site, I would remove it entirely but he will not, so it must stay - at least for another day.
Cisco is doing well enough but still tries to lick so I am erring on the side of caution. Maddy is taking it easy for the most part. She just wants cuddles and a kind word. Ace doesn't even know he had surgery - nothing seems to bother him.
I took them all out for a 'recess' from the confines of the small area they are in. It was just for about 10 minutes and now they are all resting. Lunch will be coming right up and another recess is scheduled this afternoon.
Otis is such a BIG baby that I decided to make this post at his expense. He works the room for sympathy like a professional actor. :+)
Oh Joyce. You are too much. You are just so funny with your pictures and captions! Thank you for all of your wonderful posts for those of us who love to watch your litters grow from afar. It is probably good that we don't live next door. Haha. This was a very fun litter to watch with the variety of colors, especially the black ones that I love so much, but all are precious when they come from your lines. I will miss seeing these sweet faces, but am so happy for all of the lucky families who will soon be a part of the big Annabelle Doodle Family. Kudos to you for all that you do and for all of the wonderful dogs that you have such insight into breeding together!
