Here are the individual pics and weights you all have been waiting for. Camden's litter at 7.2 weeks.

OH MY! Pink Girl is (blush) actually Red BOY!  4 1/2 lbs.
Golly, how embarrassing!

Glitter Girl is not interested in posing today. 6 lbs.

Copper Girl is interested in what I have in the sink....food? 5 1/4 lbs.

Plum Girl is my wind up toy. Loves life, people, anything that moves. 4 lbs.

Grey Boy sporting his cute beard! 4 1/4 lbs.
Blue Boy looking debonaire. 4 3/4 lbs.

Green Boy is pondering life in general. 5 lbs.

To date, personalities are beginning to emerge with Plum Girl taking the limelight. The others seem to be average in energy. Blue Boy is the gentle soul, not as confident as the rest yet. Of course, this changes all the time with more exposure, maturity and stimulation. As my trainer constantly tells me - 'My assessment is a window in time and not set in stone. Environment, time engaged with the pup via socialization as well as training will make huge differences.'  Take that to heart!!

Camden's 7 week olds playing in the puppy room.

It has been a very, very busy week but Thanksgiving was had yesterday with friends and family and the turkey was delicious. Many thanks to my dear daughter who stayed with us for the week working in the poultry shed and then helping me prepare our wonderful dinner. We did manage to get a bit of shopping in.  :+)

Here are some casual shots of Camden's pups as they were entertained this past week by Annabelle, Pilot, our grandson and Haddie McGee.

They love playing with the many different toys and Tug A War is their favorite, of course - everyone gets in on that one!

I am hoping to get them to go outdoors for a bit this week. I have a bit of snow to remove from the alleyway but if I can get it shoveled, using the dogie door will begin. Once they get it, they will be able to at least go out for a bit when they want. I love when that happens.  :+) Until hubby fixes the snow blower, using the play yard will have to wait but they will have much more space to run around in once they master the dogie door.

Note: I will be taking pics of Camden's litter on Sunday.

I apologize for not getting it done yesterday but we are celebrating Thanksgiving today due to the snowstorm that took out our power and have company.

Thanks for understanding.  :+)  Joyce

Whew! Our power is back!

Unfortunately, we could not have our Thanksgiving Day turkey dinner as a nasty snowstorm hit us hard and we had no electricity - bummer! However, we will be celebrating it on Saturday instead and we have a lot to be grateful for.

So, if you have been trying to reach me for anything, you now know why I could not respond. I do believe a generator is in our future - our very near future.  :+)

To update, Camden's litter is growing like crazy and love to run around the pup room and my kitchen every now and again. Tillie is doing great with her little babies - they are nice and plump, content and beautiful. Every time I look at them, I think of a small box of chocolates and caramels. Soooo yummy.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL and I look forward to the Christmas season.

Here are Dancing Matilda's puppies with Emmett!

Tillie has been doing great and I was so grateful that she delivered her puppies on Monday, early evening. Considering my family has been 'through the roof' busy with our poultry business (getting turkeys ready for consumers to purchase from our local farmers is no easy task!), it was a welcome time for whelping. Now, I can have an uninterrupted Thanksgiving dinner for all of us.  :+)

The pups and their mom were thoroughly checked over at my vets on Tuesday and all looked great with no obvious issues showing up such a cleft palates, hernias, etc. Tillie is in great shape with lots of milk for her small litter. They will be plump babies for sure.

I am still thoroughly surprised that there were no blacks produced (my favorite!) but I am so thankful that Tillie's guardians want to continue the guardianship for Tillie's little chocolate girl as Tillie will be retired after raising her mini litter. 'Thank you' Joanne and Bob!!! You both are the best!!

Here are the babies on Day 2 of life.

First born boy weighed 10 7/8 oz. - Teal Collar

Apr/Wht Abstract Boy weighed 13 5/8 oz. - Orange Collar

Chocolate Female 'Georgie' - Gold Collar.

Tillie is delivering her litter tonight! UPDATE

So far, she has whelped two boys - one chocolate and the other apricot. The third pup, a female, I think is black but will know for sure in the daylight tomorrow morning. Litter is spoken for as far as I know at this time.

It is now Tuesday morning and the female is indeed chocolate. Who would have guessed that I would end up with NO blacks?? The color DNA Gods just love to toy with me.  :+)

AVAILABLE NOW!!!!

Hello,

If you are reading this, I would like to pass on this information:

A breeder acquaintance is deeply saddened by the passing of her husband. Due to his illness, she has several older puppies available that my kind friend, Heather Clark of Blueberry Cottage Labradoodles is caring for until they are placed.

Please note:  These are NOT rescue Labradoodles, so are not 'reduced'. They come from tested parents and a caring environment. Most of them are standard size with a deep apricot/reddish coat about 6 months or so ready for immediate homes.

If this is a size you prefer, or know of someone in the market for an immediate companion, please contact Heather at Blueberry Cottage Labradoodles - http://www.blueberrycottagelabradoodles.com/ Heather will be able to show you pictures of the available puppies and answer some questions.

Thank you.

Week 5 for Camden and Emmett's pups!

They are sure growing into little dogs now and climbing, biting, running and being a general nuisance when I try to clean up the potty box.  :+)

Here are some shots of them playing in the pup room, some with Haddie in the mix. They love 'free time' and enjoy venturing all over the room.

They LOVE this wooden box.

So many things to look at and chew!

Sometimes Haddie likes to chew them. Easy Haddie!

I just love the sparkle of the black coats.

As well as the warm feeling the light coats give.

One goes up, the other goes down.

Hey Blue Boy, share that fun circle toy.

DANCING MATILDA has arrived for her impending whelp. (List is closed).

Tillie is a joy to have here. Her guardians do a wonderful job and I feel so fortunate to have them in my 'doodle guardian family circle'.  :+) She is not due until the weekend and is enjoying playing with my girls, including Haddie McGee!

Loves to jump on my lap in the evening for numerous belly rubs and attention. This is Tillie's second and last litter and we so hope we have a female (or two) to move forward with to place in guardian homes.

Tillie is called an 'Open Parti' patterned Australian Labradoodle.  A typical parti pattern does not have as much white as Tillie does. My hope is that she will pass on more white tipping on her pups than normal. I can wish, right??  :+) Keeping my fingers crossed for an easy and uncomplicated delivery.

Camden's pups enjoying their little slide - Week Five.

The expansion of their pen allows for a much larger 'potty throne' and assorted new toys for them to explore. They are so cute when I go in for some cuddle time and wag their tails ferociously!  :+)

Here they are checking their slide out. They were all very brave climbing and going down the steps on the other side.

Camden's litter update at five weeks of age.

The puppies are doing so well. I have to say they just love when I let them out to explore the room. Plum Girl spins around like an Energizer Bunny not knowing which direction to go to investigate first - she is a hoot and a half; yet, she is totally self entertaining. She keeps me laughing all the time with her antics. Copper and Glitter are also pretty inquisitive as well. The rest simply enjoy what the new area has to offer with wagging tails. Of course, all of these 'quick mental notes' are simply what I see today - as they mature and grow so will their personalities, so a lot of changes happen in the next few weeks!

Enjoy the pics but don't fall in love with just one of them - be flexible is the best advice I can give! I know it is hard but my program is based on 'match-making' so a lot to consider besides looks or expressions.

I should also add that this litter is tracking to be on the smaller side - 25 to 28 lb. range (Emmett's size)  rather than 30 to 32 lbs. (Camden's size).  Typically for the 30 lb. range, the pups should be at least their weight in age (i.e. 5 weeks - 5 lbs.).  Except for Glitter Girl, the majority are going to be under the 30 lb. range of weight. At least that is my opinion for right now.  :+)

Green Boy weighs 3 1/2 lbs.

Pink Girl at 3 1/4 lbs.
Grey Boy is at 3 lbs.

Glitter Girl is the heaviest at 4 1/4 lbs.

Blue Boy weighs 3 1/2 lbs.

Plum Girl is the smallest at 2  3/4 lbs. and has an underbite. She is the only caramel in the litter
and has dark liver pigment and will have light amber/green eyes. Personality PLUS!

Copper Girl is 3  3/4 lbs.

They are now eating real dog food, drinking water, wrestling with each other and with toys. They enjoy short visits with Haddie and do very well with litter box usage. A very content group.

Haddie playing with Camden's puppies.

Lately, I have been letting the little pups out of their pen to roam around the puppy room just to get use to more space and to entertain them. Today, I decided to allow Haddie in with them to see how they would all react to her and vice versa.  All of them had a ball!
