Nellie has been doing an exceptional job at mothering her adorable litter of five. They have been gaining steadily and are a very content group. I have to say that Nellie is a wonderful guest here at ADNE. I don't even have to 'protect' the room the pups are in because Nellie is very welcoming to the other dogs in the house - no 'protection aggression' at all. She lets them know they are hers by her body language but is not a frantic mom - so wonderful. She continues to eat like a trucker and is happy to fed her babies often. What an easy breeding dam.

Molly Pitcher looks like a teeny Rottweiller. They are beautiful. Emmett is proud.
ReplyDeleteThat or a Doberman! However, the look will be totally different on a doodle. Her coat will have length and wave and the tendrils on her face, head and chin will have her looking welcoming rather than 'guarding'. It is another beautiful litter.
