Another big week in the lives of this litter! Hazel is now back with her family and the pups are beginning to interact with our doodles on a regular basis. Every now and again, Elsie escapes into our house and I know it immediately because of Harriet's bewildered bark. Daisy is happy as a lark to think Elsie is a new play toy; Gunny is gurgling her imitation bark in glee; and Annabelle is wanting to steal into their pen to discover the new toys. Both Olive and Willis are jumping on the kitchen bench like two women who saw a mouse. It is quite the chaotic event. Oi.
Every few days or so, I change up their pen with different toys, beds and what-not. I bet by next week, they will venture outdoors for a peek of the 'other world'. I will take pics! Till then, they are still enjoying venturing into the pup room and looking outside as I do keep the door open just in case one gets really brave. My bet is that Pink Girl will do it first. She is a feisty, inquisitive pup. :+)
Incredibly, all these pups are tracking to be minis - under 25 lbs. at this time! None seem to be heading toward the 30 to 35 lb. range like their dad, Bo Didley.

Red Boy weighs 3 1/4 lbs. Just love those perky ears! |
Pink Girl weighs 3 3/8 lbs. A tiny thing just bursting with curiosity. |
Green Boy is 3 1/4 lbs. Still the litter heart-throb. |
Okie Boomer is the biggest at 4 lbs. Boomer has the gentle personality of Bo Didley. |
Elsie Malloy is 3 7/8 lbs. She is a socialite with tomboy tendencies.
