Skye and pups saw our sweet vet this morning and the pups had their Dew Claws removed and were checked out and deemed in great shape. Skye was also given a thorough exam as well and had a low grade fever but 'normal' for post partum whelp. Her milk is in well and her calcium was checked and I was advised to continue the supplements she is getting. So I will continue my protocol of Fenugreek (to produce milk), Calcium (to prevent Eclampsia), add dried pumpkin to give her stools a bit more bulk, TUMS for a calcium boost and to keep an eye on her temperature. All in all, a good visit. :+)

Skye loves to ride in the car and she and the pups settled quickly both to and from the vet office. They are now nursing and both mom and babies will nap. Me, too - maybe. :+)
