When you get your pup home, be sure to put really wonderful treats (cooked chicken, beef, etc) into the crate and leave the door open so they go in, eat it and get out. Feed them in their crate, again with the door open. Eventually, your pup will agree that a crate is a 'good' place.

Crate Intro for Gunny's litter.
First, I don't claim to do crate training; however, I do like to place small crates in their space with the doors open for exploration. Most times, they choose to sleep in them. This just gives them an introduction to what a crate is and that it is not their enemy.
