What a great week it has been. Brinkley is doing an awesome job feeding her group and they are all thriving. Thankfully, Brinkley LOVES raw chicken necks and is eating them up like candy! They are so nutritious for her and produce a wonderful milk supply.
A heating pad is in the whelping box, on low, so when mommy is not there 'warmth' is. I find the pups move away or towards it depending on their needs. Brinkley enjoys being outdoors with the other girls for a little bit but is always back at the door wanting to come in to check on her babies. :+)

Me, too! I just finished making Brinkley some 'Satin Balls'. It is a highly nutritious, high caloric, 'fattening' recipe because she is on the thin side. She is giving all her calories to her pups so I need to give her more calorie dense food. She just ate two as a snack before turning in for the night.
