Let the games begin!

Right now, the new 'bed' is being investigated.

I think Odie is a bit overwhelmed with all these pups! They think he is 'just the berries'!

Odie left, so they are back at Tigger, the Tiger for entertainment.

Odie is back and yelling 'HELP' - they are biting me! I did rescue him. :+)

First morning bursts of energy!

Just wanted to clarify that the 'white stuff' on the pavers is NOT snow! ha, ha! It is human grade Diatomaceous Earth (DE) which I spread each night after cleaning the pens from the days activities. :+) I use this as a natural ingredient to discourage insects and such. Insect eggs, ants, and other creepy crawlies get 'sliced and diced' as they attempt to crawl over the extremely sharp DE. This does not hurt the puppies at all. As a matter of fact, it is an excellent product that I routinely feed all my dogs to kill any parasites they might have ingested. I have used it for several years now to keep my dogs worm-free. So far, it has worked beautifully. So, if any pups look 'dusted over', they have been rolling in it! :+)

More enjoy the new toy.

Typical of siblings, one always wants what the other has.

Here is Pink Girl, a little dusty from a recent 'rollover' in the DE.

'Don't you just love the view from here?'

The expression on these two was precious! Cadbury pressed the music button and they were both sooooooo intent on listening!

Rocken & Rollin'

This morning after their bellies were filled from Mommys' milk and a homemade breakfast, they were ready to go play! It was a perfect early morning for pics, so enjoy!

Black Boy (and a few others) love to grab the 'spring ball' that I attached to the larger Playskol Clubhouse that sits in the connecting outdoor pen.

Green Boy and Purple Girl seem to want the toy that I put away yesterday. I always introduce different toys so they don't get bored. I keep rotating them.

Flower Girl REALLY knows how to beg!

Red Girl is investigating one of the 'portholes' in the big clubhouse. I am sure there is another sibling inside teasing her!

Now, THIS is a riot! It is similar to the children's 'Sit and Spin' but with music! When their paws touch the yellow bottom it moves and they learn not to be excessively skittish if they find themselves on a slippery surface. When their paws touch the top, sounds come on. Too cute!

Let's play outdoors!

They all love this 'tunnel'.

Exposing them to different textures, shapes, wheels, etc. helps them become well balanced and less nervous over the many sights, sounds and environment when they go to live with you.

They chase each other through the tunnel and around and sometimes peek under.

The pups play out here most of the day now and use the litter box crates some of the time. We are still working on that.

Since these shoots, I have expanded their area to the two pens where a bigger slide, tunnel is located and those pics will be forthcoming soon!

Mae, group shoots and individuals to follow.

Maple Sugar continues to give Green Boy a run for his 'weight'! She too, is 6.12 lbs. and one rugged girl. Considering that she is two days younger, I feel pretty confident she will be a bit bigger than her mom and weigh in the 38 lb. range. The 'Mae West' of the ladies!

The pups have used the ramp now for the entire week and have no issues navigating it. At first there was some hesitation, but not anymore!

As I was trying to take individual shots & weights, these guys were all over the place causing all sorts of mayhem, but aside from some shredding of the grass mat, all went rather well. :+)

Blue Boy pondering life.

Too bad the sun caused all the sunstreaks, but they really love their outdoor play areas.

The first group.!

Yellow Girl was NOT impressed with this photo shoot! 'Hang Loose' was never so aptly put.
She is a doll though and a bit rugged at 5.13 lbs.

Now here is a smidgen! Purple Girl 'all wet' might weigh a tad more than 5.4 lbs, but just barely. She will definitely be a true mini with a curly, soft wool coat. A delightful personality of sugar and spice and all things nice!

'Rosy the red-nosed doodle'! Sporting green eyes and liver nose - but hiding her chocolate genes under her cream coat, Red Girl is full of herself! She belies her personality in this pic. Don't let her fool you! A fun puppy that rivals Cadbury.

Ahhhhh....Multi Girl. Everyone's sweetheart. Tears are going to fall on this baby when she is placed. I can't tell you how many times I have had to say - 'The trainer matches the pup to the family.' I wish I had 11 just like her! Right in the middle with weight at 5.12 lbs.

Cute as a button Black Boy! A small male but he makes up for it in personality and spunk! He loves to play but also loves to be cuddled. He is 5 lbs. of charm. :+)

the last of the lot!

You know how some people eat chocolate and get a burst of energy? Well, Cadbury seems to be producing lots of energy this week. :+) She has weighed in at 6.8 lbs., but I am sure her activity level has burned up a pile of calories!

Pink Girl has had her share of activity as well. She can kick it up a notch and give Cadbury a good tussle when she is inclined to. Pink is holding her own at 6.4 lbs.

Then there is Flower Girl - who loves to play! She certainly enjoys a good time but loves those belly rubs too. At 5.8 lbs. , she isn't the smallest, but has a good solid frame.

Obviously, Green Boy is a burly one! Matching pound for pound with Mae (Maple Sugar), he is 6.12 lbs. He has bounce, sweetness and just plain adorable all rolled up in one. :+)

Blue Boy is such a gentle soul. I think he really favors his daddy a lot. Has a somewhat quiet, playful nature with lots of comtemplative sitting and watching too. I believe he will be a 'blue coated doodle' which means his skin is blue and his coat will have a blue/black tinge. His weight is 6 lbs. this week.
