Maple Sugar is a brute!

Affectionately called 'Mae' by her Guardians, Maple Sugar continues to dominate the weight scale at 3.8 lbs. Although two days younger than her cousins, Annabelle's genetics seem to be ruling. Mae also has some interesting markings as I see a patch of white right at the tip of her nose as well as her head, chest, toes and tail! Many of Annabelle's markings blended away except for her chest. I hope Mae's will remain.

She will have a combination coat like Annabelle that is soft, with loopy curls.

Introducing Annabelle's Maple Sugar aka 'Mae'!

Since most of my posts have been of Harriet Potter's brood, I thought people should know that Annabelle's beautiful pup 'Maple Sugar' should also share the limelight. :+)

We are looking for a local guardian home for our new treasure who has a gorgeous shade of apricot/red coloring thanks to her parents. She will be a medium sized girl with strong boning and has a broad head which I always look for. I expect her to be approx. 18 inches tall and around 35 lbs. or so at maturity. An Annabelle clone for sure. :+)

I have not picked my girl from Harriet's litter yet, but will be looking for a second guardian home for my choice from her litter as well. Such fun!!!

ADDENDUM: Maple Sugar has an adoption family right here in town! She and one of Harriet's little ones will be moving in with the Schindler Family! Plenty of love to go around there. :+)

A carbon copy of Annabelle is born!

This little miss is a replica of her mommy, Annabelle, right down to all the 'baby markings'! As Annabelle grew, the marks disappeared except her patch of white on her chest. This little girl is a doll!!

Annabelle's surprise!

Guess what? At 11:15 this evening, tucked under our canopy bed, Annabelle delivered a gorgeous deep apricot female puppy! Now, remember folks, this is the girl that had two x-rays that said...SORRY, NO PUPPIES! Surprise indeed! :+) Pics tomorrow!
