HOBBS makes a surprise visit!

Another surprise came in the form of a fluffy mop!  Hobbs, a miniature stud hopeful came by and boy oh boy was I head over heels in love with this treasure!

His guardians are so awesome and take him everywhere and he meets tons and tons of people of all sizes and it shows in his confident personality.

Hobs is only six months in these photos and I am keeping my fingers crossed he passes his testing to become an ADNE stud boy!

Another new post that I am so excited about!

This little guy is over the top cute.  He is six months old now and we had a visit this morning.  What a little doll baby!  About 14 inches tall and 15 lbs., a true mini stud prospect.

If you read my post on Hobbs and his Mastiff friend Brick, it was truly heartwarming.  I had Hobbs checked over to see how he was progressing and my vet was soooooo smitten with him.  I wanted to post a few pics to show off this miniature stud prospect.  I pray he passes his testing when a year.  Right now, we wanted to be sure he has two testicles, is friendly, solid in structure and confident.  He is all that and more!  :+)

ADNE Force of Hobbit aka Hobbs is from Daisy Mae and Thaddeus.  He just makes my heart sing!

A quick update on my latest Guardian Home placement - Force of Hobbit!

I am a fortunate woman, my Guardian Home Families are amazing!  When I placed this little guy, I just knew it was a match made in heaven.  Look at these pics.

Can you find Hobbs?

Yes, opposites attract.

Now, when you see little Hobbs with this giant Mastiff named 'Brick', your eyes pop, right?  When Hobbs first met Brick, he was soooooo frightened!  He shook, howled and was downright scared to bits.  As a group, we all stood together outdoors while I sometimes held Hobbs and other times put him down to investigate his new surroundings.  The guardian dad, held Brick so he could not chase Hobbs.  The trick was to let Hobbs feel more comfortable to go to Brick on his own, which he eventually did.  Once that connection was made, we all went into the house together as a unit.  Once inside, Hobbs was 'right at home' and did awesome.

Today, you are witness to their relationship - they are best buds.  :+).

It is critically important that introductions be done properly which is why I insist on all my buyers having a trainer lined up so that their pup learns to overcome obstacles that could otherwise cripple them.  The benefits far outweigh the time and effort involved as the pic above illustrates.  :+)

And for a little boasting, I am told Hobbs goes to the door for potty and puts himself in his crate every evening all by his little ol' self!  They have had him for about two weeks!

This is too cute not to post.

Green Boy known as 'Force of Hobbit' aka HOBBS went to his guardian home yesterday.  When we visited to see how Hobbs would do, their sweet, gentle Mastiff, Brick, wanted to be Hobbs' friend in the worse way but Hobbs was scared to death of him!  We took our time and let them get to know each other outdoors and eventually, Hobbs realized Brick was indeed a dog and seemed to recover from his fear.

We then went indoors where Hobbs felt right at home.  This is the video I received :

Please copy it and watch.  So cute.

I might add there are also two Jack Russell Terriers and three teenage boys - plus five horses and lots of land and a very interesting barn.  Hobbs has his very own playground!
