Tillie is such a love. Her owners went to Ireland for several weeks and Tillie had a ball at her dog sitters - maybe too much fun as she was in dire need of a complete makeover. When the groomer told Tillie's guardian that 'she needed to be shaved', Joanne called me promptly and brought her to me.
I worked on her for a few hours with Joanne keeping Tillie occupied and we eventually combed out all the matting and prepared her for a summer clipping. Tillie's coat was so beautiful once combed through that I could not resist these pics. I hope to breed Tillie this fall/winter for black and white parti puppies with Percy Jaxon. Oh, sometimes I wish Mother Nature would just take a vacation!
My Dancing Matilda, who I have been waiting and waiting to breed with because I REALLY want a litter of black and white parti pups, is now in season. Of course, I have already decided to breed Muddie Pearl. To top it off, Tillie's guardians had planned on a wonderful trip which included some camping and hiking to celebrate their retirements and Tillie is to be a part of that wonderful experience. So, we are postponing Tillie's breeding until the next time. I hope the trip is fun for all and that the weather holds for stunning views.
At the moment, I will soon have Olive's pups to dote on and then Pearl's 'box of chocolates' will be expected in November. Enough to keep me quite busy during the holidays. :+)

Updated pics of our adorable Dancing Matilda!
Today, I met up with Tillie's guardian mom at the Canine Ophthalmologist 's office for her eye CERF.
Tillie has had numerous classes in dog obedience as well as Therapy Dog training. I was so proud of Tillie and extremely pleased with her wonderful guardian, Joanne, for doing such a great job with her.
As you can see, Tillie is a chocolate and white parti and I am hopeful, with the right mating, she will produce several parti-patterned furry babies in the near future.
On the smaller side of medium, my plans for Tillie are to produce large miniatures in the 20 to 25 lb. range in the near future. I would love to breed her with my little guy Jaxon for black and white parti puppies but that will all depend on timing. Jaxon should be ready for his early testing in September. So, we shall see!
I was pleased as punch that Tillie had a PERFECT eye examination and will be CERF certified! :+)

Have to share this adorable photograph of Tillie.
I missed Tillie's 2-year old birthday (shame on me!) but her guardian did not. Here she is decked out to the gills with her birthday decorations. Isn't she a hoot???? I can't wait until she has a litter. :+)
Thank you for the pic, Joanne!!

On the subject of knowing how to relax......
We all know how important it is to pamper ourselves every now and again. It is important to our well being and should be practiced for rejuvenation of both mind and body.
Dancing Matilda, lovingly nicknamed 'Tillie' displays to all the perfect pose for this to be most beneficial. I am sure there will be many more belly rubs for this adorable breeding girl when she is pregnant for the first time. It appears both of them have the practice down pat. :+)

Our future hopeful.
Annabelle Doodles of New England is delighted to welcome Miss 'Dancing Matilda' to our home. I picked up 'Tillie' on Thursday from my dear friend and fellow breeder Stefani of Ocean State Labradoodles. Our handsome stud, Rumple was bred to her apricot parti girl Jazzy and Tillie was one of the four parti-patterns produced in the litter of six.
At first Tillie was a bit overwhelmed with my rambunctious group who are one and a half weeks older than she is, but it only took less than 24 hours for her to completely mesh in with her new adoptees.
She has conquered the doggie door with panache and holds her own at the food bowl (even though she is half their size!). Learned how to use the Lixit Water bottles in minutes and plays tug, chase, hide and seek and 'catch me if you can' with her 'new' siblings.
In time, Tillie will be placed in a guardian home if all her prelim testing goes well. She will be a miniature and if bred, will produce parti, abstract and solid pups in the 20 pound range and about 17 inches tall at best. I hope you all find her as outrageously adorable as I do!
