Ranger aka Blue Boy from the Camden x Emmett litter.
It is with much happiness that I post about Blue Boy, now Ranger, being in his permanent home. He was picked up this morning in spite of a bit of Mother Nature's nasty tricks.
This family owns an Annabelle doodle, Winston, from an earlier litter and exclaimed that what Ranger needed for a great placement is what they could offer and the arrangements were made.
When I met Winston, I knew this was the place for Blue Boy - as Winston is a perfect role model for this pup as well as the family dynamics!
This is a pic when they picked up Winston two years ago. :+)

UPDATE: RANGER (Blue Boy) has a home (12/26). Thank you to all that inquired about him.
Dec. 24th. 'Can I help with the laundry'?
Sadly, Blue Boy was not comfortable in a city setting and has returned to be placed in a rural home. He will be a small medium (30 lbs.) has a fleece coat with slight waves and will grow to approximately 17 to 18 inches tall.
He is a sensitive boy and would do best with the following:
- someone at home or can take him to work/retired individuals, active adults, etc.
- dog experience (has had dogs in the past)
- sensitive older children would be fine but not younger than 12
- has patience, Blue Boy needs to overcome his concerns at his pace
- uses a trainer that utilizes confidence building exercises
- another friendly dog in the household would be great
- does well in his crate, car rides and entertains himself with toys easily
- is cuddly and quite calm - not a barker
Update on 12/26/14: Fortunately, a family that already has an Annabelle Doodle came to visit but wanted to really make a well thought out decision not a spontaneous one. With the Christmas holiday, all were too busy with cooking, company and holiday spirit to have the solid piece of time needed.
After calling their trainer and making general inquiries to others of the possible concerns with a somewhat shy/cautious doodle, I was contacted that they did indeed want Blue and his name is RANGER. I was very pleased because this family fit all the criteria above and more. Ranger has received the best Christmas present ever - a loving, patient, lifelong home! :+)

Here are pics of the new families that picked up Camden's puppies over the past two days.
The last one will be picked up on Monday afternoon and will be added then.
Thank you so much everyone for picking me as your breeder and embracing the Annabelle Doodle assignment process. Enjoy your pups but remember to be consistent in your training! :+)

Are you ready????
Camden's litter of pups will be leaving this weekend. Hopefully, all buyers have read my Supply List, the Contract and are prepared with paper towels, hand sanitizer, crate/harness system and plastic bags (just in case of any mishaps) when you pick up your new fur-baby.
Please inspect your home for any possible items that could cause your new pup harm such as wires, small items that are reachable, plants, poisons, etc. The best way to really see what could be an issue is to be on your hands and knees as you search. :+)
Have you found a trainer? Obedience facility? Dog Walker? Vet? Friends with vaccinated dogs for introductions and playmate?
The pups are doing very well since their surgeries and are full of energy. Just remember to prevent them from jumping for another week while they fully heal. I gave them a bath prior to their surgical appointments as it is recommended they not have a bath for 10 days after surgery.
Your pup will come with a detailed notebook, toys, collar/leash, litter 'blanket', door bells for training to potty outside, etc. So, I ask again......are you ready??

Camden's pups at 9 weeks! (UPDATE on surgeries!)
Ziggy - 9 lbs, the largest pup.
Grey Boy weighs 7 1/4 lbs.
Chelsea is 8 1/4 lbs.
Bentley is 8 1/2 lbs.
Finley remains the smallest at 5 3/4 lbs.
Oscar tips in at 6 3/4 lbs.
Brewster is 7 1/4 lbs.
Like everyone else, we are at full swing for the holidays. Shopping, cleaning, decorating, wrapping, baking....you all know what it is like.
Happily, the weather is allowing for more outside time for the pups which is just wonderful for them and me - they LOVE it out there!
Tomorrow all of them go to the vets for their spays and neuters. I will take advantage of this time to rearrange the room to accommodate their surgeries.
Busy, busy!
---------------------------------------------------------------
On Monday, December 15th, all the pups went in for surgeries. The females had an OVARIECTOMY aka OVE. The uterus was not removed. Informational sheets will be included in your packet for information on this type of surgery. It is very commonly done in Europe but not so much in the USA. After reading numerous articles, I have chosen this surgery over the OVH as a means of sterilization.
As I type, they are quiet after having a bit to eat and drink. Some were wrestling! I really want them to be settled but they feel too good! I will take pics tomorrow of how I divided the group.

We have FINALLY gone outdoors to play!
Snow, ice, rain and cold temperatures were not very conducive to letting the pups go outdoors for short periods during the day. We have a saltbox roof and the snow comes tumbling off of it which is dangerous for the pups and dogs. I have to be ever watchful for this occurrence.
However, yesterday and today - clean roof with decent temperatures! Yea!!

With Haddie's help, the pups found their courage to venture outdoors.
Thank you, Haddie for being such a great big sister to these pups. :+)
I love those cute rear ends!!
Chelsea was one of the first to go up and down the ramp.
Now, these two (Finley and Bentley) took their time to brave the outdoors!

Play time in the kitchen pics for Camden's crew!
Since the weather is not cooperating for outside play for Camden's pups, they spend quite a bit of time exercising in the kitchen area. They love the space to run and explore - especially with Haddie leading the entertainment list. They play tug with the tunnel as well as trying to jump all over it; wrestle with the small bed, gather at the water bowl area for drinks and chase balls just to mention a few. They finally tire out from all the action and I put them all into their pen for a well deserved nap.
Finley loves to reign over her kingdom.
Glitter loves balls.
Brewster getting ready to pounce on a sibling.
Chelsea - ever the poser!
Red Boy 'OSCAR' enjoys the tunnel.
Green Boy 'BENTLEY' with friends. Love the tongue hanging out.
Haddie and Grey Boy having a serious conversation. Dog Therapist??

Camden's litter had their eyes checked today!
It was a good ride both ways. There was a bit of complaint going to the vets but it calmed down quickly. They enjoyed all the attention from the staff and Dr. Clode, who was just so smitten with all of them.
The exams went very, very well and all received great reviews. :+) I am ever grateful I had the appointment for today as the weather was cold, but not blustery with heavy rain which is what is expected for the next few days. Whew!
When I arrived home, I took this pic. They were rather comfortable.

Camden's 8 week pics are up!
Although a busy day, I had enough of a break between visitors to snap some pics.
Hopefully, I will manage to get them outside this week - I tried today, but no one had enough confidence to step through the door frame - they came REALLY close and are very interested but it did not happen.
Tomorrow, the group is going to my Canine Ophthalmologist for an eye check. This is so that I can know if the vet sees any possible eye disease which could make the pup blind. Always good to avert any such issues!
I will also be doing all the paperwork for your pup this week, so a name AS SOON AS POSSIBLE will be very helpful! Thank you so much for those that have already given me one. :+)
Lastly, the balance for your pup is due so please mail out personal checks this week in order for them to clear my bank. Personal checks are not accepted on Pick Up Day. Please email me personally if you have any questions.

Okay, I know I said today I would post pics of Camden's litter but the assignments are still not complete...
so please take pity on me. Tomorrow does not look much better as I have three pup appointments and the days are SO short! I will tend to them as soon as possible, honest!

My trainer has come and assignments have been made for Camden's litter.
I am still waiting to hear from several potential owners to make decisions. Once I have them, I will be able to post pics and assignments tomorrow as it is too late for pics tonight.
Today's temperament tests took most of the daylight unfortunately.
So far the following pups have been assigned and accepted:

Misc. shots of Camden's litter playing in the kitchen. (7+ wks.)
Now is the time I begin giving the pups more time investigating new spaces. They are not quite ready to venture outdoors yet - hoping tomorrow's weather will be conducive.
Just enjoy the random pics. :+)
