12 for dinner part 2

These bowls are licked clean as a whistle.

Of course all the pups check out each other's bowls to see if any crumbs have been left behind.

The old adage: 'What goes in....must come out'. Good potty!! :+)

Tomorrow and Thursday are busy days traveling and visiting the eye vet. All the pups will be examined by Dr. Cassotis, a certified Canine Opthalmologist - 5 tommorrow and 6 Thursday. This is the time (between 8 and 12 weeks) that the eyes provide the best opportunity to expose possible canine eye disease. After 12 weeks, the eyes are less exposed and you loose this vital view.

Of course, all breeding dogs should continue to have a CERF done yearly. (See our Bill of Health page for more info.)

Dinner for 12.

Oh, the anticipation of dinner being prepared!

Pups are now eating five pounds of food three times a day- split in two trays. This meal is comprised of our very own Simply Poultry (ground) with cottage cheese, V-8 Juice and organic oats.

Yum! We like to eat!!

It is amazing how quickly they consume food.

Beatrix received visitors today.

Marcia and Carl were my very first inquiries for this litter and Marcia has a book three inches thick of all the research she did. I feel very honored to have been chosen as the breeder for their furry bundle. :+)

I have a feeling though that Beatrix is 'laying claims' on her new family! Carl already has a route planned for their walks and Marcia is busy looking at Vera Bradley dog collar patterns! YIKES!!! :+)

Yellow has a name!

It's 'official'! Yellow Girl will now be called 'RUBY' after much family discussion. I really don't think she will develop a red coat, but she is still a 'gem'! :+)
