Lulu Belle goes home!

Since they are now 8 weeks, I am hoping I will be able to get them to understand what that dogie door REALLLY is for - POTTY OUTSIDE! :+) They use it to go an play without a problem and SOMETIMES they use it for pottying. It is my goal this week to help them connect outside with pottying as well as fun!

For this week's pics I used a bit of 'soft' focus around some of the pics just for a change. :+)

This is our champion shrimp - Yellow Girl at 6 lbs. 3 ozs.

Green Boy aka 'Hummer' flattens out the scale at 11 lbs. 4 ozs.

Holding true to the medium size are the 3 muskateers with Blue Boy at 8 lbs. 4 ozs.

Black Boy at 8 lbs. 4 ozs.

and Stripe Boy at 8 lbs. even.

Teal Girl is holding her own petite size at 7 lbs. 4 ozs.

Today was a special day for this family as they had to wait another week to bring their little bundle home.

Six years ago, they made a trip up to Annabelle Doodles for their first pup, named 'Fuzzer' (on left). Today, they happily added a redhead to their household - little Lulu Belle.

Lulu Belle waits.

Lulu Belle is being very patient, but she is looking forward to her new owners coming to get her on Saturday. :+)

The boys go home, I miss them already :+(

Well it is awfully quiet around here without the boys wrestling and running about getting things started. The girls are a bit confused but adapting well. :+) They liked the fact that they had their own lunch bowls and didn't have to rush to gobble the food down. Lulu Belle will be here one more week and then Gretta will have to mesh into our lifestyle until I decide what to do with her - keep or sell. I am in no rush and neither is she. :+)

Our Green Giant, Ralphie will be a wonderful addition to the Lynch family. I know Peter will want to get him to play ball as soon as possible and Daddy seems to have bonded with him from the getgo.

Ledley (Black Collar) will keep his happy owners quite busy with his antics and they will get lots of exercise bringing that boy up and down 3 flights of stairs for a while. Good luck!!

Tuck (Stripe) will give lots and lots of kisses and cuddles to his new family. A more sweet temperament will be very hard to find. A perfect fit for this family. :+)

Kids and their puppy - like peanut butter and jelly - it is the perfect combination. I am sure Jasper (Blue) will provide lots of laughs, steal many slippers and have lots of attention.

I sure hope when any of you are near these parts, that you will let me know and come by for a 'look-see'. I adore it when I can see my puppies growing up.

We went for a ride today.......

L to R: Ledley, Jasper, Ralphie and Lulu Belle.

to see the eye doctor. We liked putting our paws on the gate and looking out the back. So many people came by and told us how cute we are. :+) Somebody mentioned to mommy that when they were done with their visit with the doc, one of us might be gone! Mommy kept a sharp eye on us the WHOLE time!!! :+) Both Gretta and Tuck went to see Dr. Cossotis a couple of weeks ago and stayed home for this trip.

Here is Ledley showing off! Jasper asked him to keep quiet, Ralphie kept 'posing' for pics and Lulu Belle was trying to decide if jumping out would be a good idea.

Mommy said we did very well both on the trip down (minimal crying and just a couple of messes) as well as with the doctor - who thought we were quite the fluffy crew. :+)

WOW! Do you believe next week will be 'going home pics'?

Tomorrow is going to be a very hectic day with the CERF Clinic, so I decided to post their 12 week pics today. Hopefully, no one minds. :+) I took these picks just prior to serving them lunch so used bibs. No, I did not keep them on as they ate.

Ledley was all about looking towards the kitchen where the food was wafting through the windows. He is a good eater.

Finally Stripe Boy was named and it is Tuck! Such an agreeable nature and so loves to cuddle.

RALPHIE! Our 'GREEN Giant' just sat in the tub knowing if he was good, food would follow.

Jasper, leaned on the tub simply waiting for dinner to be served to him.

The ever nosy Gretta was watching my husband with FOUR eyes!!!!!

And then came Lulu Belle. The last one to have lunch due to her skirmish down the alley atop the boardwalk; veered right to the pool and tried walking on the cover where she got her feet and belly wet; then dashed through the garden on the left where the dirt kept piling on and FINALLY the snapshot. Does Energizer Bunny ring any bells????? What a little monkey!

The pups are doing awesome this morning!

They are running around like Tasmanian Devils and shouting with glee that I removed their head cones! I am not allowing them in the play area where the grass is until I feel confident that the incisions are almost healed, so they are enjoying conquering the Play Skol slide and playing chase within the confines of the outside pens.

They all ate breakfast and took their last pain pill.

By the way, the trip to the vet's was a whole lot less eventful than the first time. :+) Only one pee and no vomiting! Of course, they had nothing to eat that morning either! The next big outing is to the eye vet this Sunday. Wish me luck!

We had surgery today!

The good news is that all of them are fine and the surgeries went well. The bad news is that they are so wound up that they are having way too much fun! Two of them, Ralphie and Ledley had head cones because they were licking their wounds too much. Eventually, Stripe had to be put in one as well. Only Jasper was not licking his wound hence - no cone.

They all had a light dinner, a pain killer and hopefully will settle for a nap soon. :+)

Little Miss Lulu Belle is separated because she is still tired from the anesthesia. She is sleeping on a pillow under the bench in my kitchen like a little princess. The boys are feeling way too good and were too rambunctious for her to remain in the pup pen. Later tonight, when they have all settled, she will go back.

Stripe Boy was very happy until he, too, got the 'cone head'.

It was hysterical to watch the boys go through the dogie door with the cones on their heads, but by golly, they managed it! Ledley had quite the technique!

They were still fooling around at 9 PM!
