Worth posting. :+)

I was just relaxing with Olive and telling her what lovely puppies she had, when I decided to try and group the pups into a shot that can show you how outstanding the coats are on these pups. I am just so enamored over the quality and type - so soft, like touching a fur pelt.

Of course, as you look at Olive's coat, you can certainly see where some of the quality is coming from. :+) But let us not forget that Cockapoos typically have lovely, low to non-shedding coats as well, so Coriander is not to be excluded from these praises - he certainly did a great job with their lovely square heads and muzzles!

Aren't they just ADORABLE????

They could not stay still very long - each one wants to climb over the other.

Sooo smart at 6 weeks! (Clara x Clifford litter)

Small litters are like having an only child - there is so much of your time to give because it is not being spread over so many. These three pups also have the added advantage of Eloise Moppet, their 'adopted' big sis. Eloise feels it is up to her to teach them all about the doggie door and all its advantages. They are very good students, happily trailing after her as she proudly shows them the ropes. Elle also wrestles with them, plays tug, chase, 'roll over', and King of the Mountain. Hazel, is like any little sister, always has something to say and does not let her big sis take advantage. The boys, however, let Eloise boss them around. Some things never change whether it is dogs or kids. :+)

Green Boy continues to be a cuddle bug. If I am in there, he is by my side wanting my lap. (5 1/4 lbs.)

Red Boy is still the biggest pup and learning to become more independent. (7.0 lbs.)

Hazel tries to outsmart Eloise everyday. She looks so innocent. :+) (5 3/4 lbs.)

Oh boy! Spring has sprung here at Annabelle Doodles!

I just received a phone call that Miss Maple Sugar is cycling and she will be bred to Rumple Sticks for their second litter together. These will be solid mediums to small standards and mature in the 35+ lb. range.

The last time they mated, we should have had some blacks but ended up with all apricot/reds. I am hoping that Maple will have some this time around as I adore those silky, shiny black coats!! I do know they will be adorable as the last litter was wonderful and everyone that bought one is very happy.

If all goes as planned and we don't have to deal with ice and snow storms, these pups will be ready for homes in early June.

Actually, it is great planning as they will be born just shy of Olive's litter going home. Finally, Mother Nature has cooperated. :+)
-------------------------------------------------------
Maple has a very curly, allergy-friendly coat. She is a sweet girl and visits here often. What I love the most about Maple is her appetite - this girl loves everything! I also adore her black nose, cuddly temperament and rugged confirmation.

Rumple's coat is simply breathe-taking. His color is so unique and almost impossible to explain. He started out chocolate and slowly changed to cafe and is now a stunning lavender. It has a mauve hue in the right light. Rumple has a wonderfully expressive face and has produced some incredible pups for me and other breeders. I love to watch Rumple move, he practically glides.

Olive x Coriander litter one week old!

I know everyone has been patiently waiting for the first individual shots of these beauties! So far, I have found this litter to be exceptionally consistent in coats and confirmation. WOW! I am so looking forward to watching them grow, as I am sure you are.

I do plan to keep one, possibly two puppies from this litter.

Just because they are so darn cute and fun! (Clara x Clifford litter)

I went to get my camera because they were having so much fun this morning playing with Eloise. All of them did go out the doggie door briefly, so I think it won't be long before that will be a common occurrence.

Here is Red Boy. Loves to chase my feet! I had to put myself into their x-pen in order to take shots otherwise, they follow me everywhere. :+)

Hazel Mae has the longest eyelashes!

Green Boy loves to be close to you and stare into your eyes. He is a total lovebug.

The threesome!

This shoot was so cute, I had to include it. Elle with Red Boy.

Olive and her pups.

Today, I finally gave Olive a bath since her whelp. I am sure her puppies are quite happy about it. :+)

These little chubs are all over a pound already. They are like the character in the book 'The Hungary Caterpillar'. Anyone read it to their children?? I can literally hear them chump away.

Don't you just love that little upturned face?

Ahhhh... the joys of a full belly.

And the comforts of warm snuggly bodies. :+)
