Exercise during our sixth week. (Clara x Cowboy)

We all know how important exercise is for healthy bodies, so this week the play space has been expanded to include both outside paver pens so there is more room for chasing, running and wrestling.
This form of exercise is their favorite.  :+)

Playing chase is always fun.

Some enjoy 'dancing'.

Then there is 'water bottle bowling'.

Happy FIRST Birthday to Maple x Rumple's babies!

I had a wonderful visit from the owners of Noodles from this litter and he is delightful!  A gorgeous coat and a very happy guy.  It was such a treat to see, touch and take pics.  :+)

An email was sent to all the owners, but I only received two pics to share; and would you believe it was the parti patterned pups in the litter that sent pics.  Thank you, wish there could have been more.

This is lovely Molly.

Here is Onyx with her two adoring owners.

Olive's litter at two weeks!

Because I have our son visiting from San Diego, California and our daughter's family coming up from Rhode Island. I needed to post two week pics of Olive's litter today.

Talk about sparkle and shine!  These babies' coats simply 'gleam'.

I decided to take body shots this time as their eyes are opened but very sensitive to light, so I did not want to cause any potential eye damage by taking pics head on with a flash.

As you can see, they are all nice and chunky with awesome coats.

They did very well being placed in an unusual area and did not whimper or shake.  We still have a few more days of Early Neurological Stimulation applications to do, but I do believe it does help with handling stressful situations at all ages.  It certainly can't hurt to initiate early intervention to provide stimuli for the hopeful result of a well grounded doodle.

These babies don't do much yet but eat and sleep, so it will be a few more days before we start taking pictures that have more activity than
resting.  :+)

Clara's pups are six weeks old today!

Purple Girl at 5.4 lbs.
Yellow Girl at 6 lbs.
Orange Girl at 6.4 lbs.
Green Boy at 7.12 lbs.
Blue Boy at 7.4 lbs.

I am always looking for places to take pictures that are not the 'same ol/same ol' look.   I know Spring is right around the corner and realized I should really take the last sprigs of my winter decorations and toss them.  Before I do however, I think the pups look darling amongst the evergreens in my porch pot.  :+)

It is a great picture day - being grey but not raining and the lighting was perfect.

This week continues their exploration of each other and their confined spaces of the puppy room, alleyway and pen.  I do plan to expand their area to the second pen this week.  It will provide them with a new item to investigate namely, the Little Tykes Slide and Clubhouse.  It should be fun taking pics as they explore the new space.

The pups continue to do very well with the potty box usage and never make a mess in their x-pen.  I am truly amazed by their wonderful potty habits indoors.  Outdoors, well...it is the outdoors so all is fair.

The pups continue to wrestle lots and lots and are doing the typical actions of biting, jumping and tugging on each other and me.  This is NORMAL puppy behavior and they are learning tolerance as well as reprimand by these 'learning experiences'.

Have to share this adorable photograph of Tillie.

I missed Tillie's 2-year old birthday (shame on me!) but her guardian did not.  Here she is decked out to the gills with her birthday decorations.   Isn't she a hoot????  I can't wait until she has a litter.  :+)

Thank you for the pic, Joanne!!

Look at us!

What an amazing day it was here in Maine!  I was outside with a T-shirt and decided to take the puppies for a walk in my nifty puppy stroller.

I piled them all in and although it was a bit snug, they did not seem to mind at all.  After a while, they all snuggled together like a furry blanket and slept.  The traffic did not scare them, as a matter of fact, Blue and Green Boys were sitting in the front just watching the  world  go by.  They were all so good.  :+)

Finally, I stopped at a neighbors house to show them off and while we chatted outside sitting on her steps, they all took a nap.  What a crew!  As we headed home again, they took it in stride and did not complain.

Interestingly enough, none of them pottied in the carriage either!  When we got back home, I took them all out and put them back into
the outside pens where they all went to go potty.  What good puppies!

More room to play!

This little slide was placed in the new area for exploration.
Leaves are a very valuable toy for this pup!
These two are not quite sure what to do with more running room.
Ally oop!
What is all this interesting stuff???
I am soooo brave!!
A new toy to chew!
