Adorable munchkins at 8 weeks old!

Black Girl weighs 6 1/4 lbs. and is one of the 'heaviest' pups.
Purple Girl is 6 lbs.
Teal Girl is equal to Black at 6 1/4 lbs.
Orange Girl weighs 5 3/4 lbs.   She is my keeper.

Pink Girl is also 6 1/4 lbs.
Green Girl weighs 6 lbs.
Many, if not all of you, have been asking me about personalities of the pups.  All I can say is that this is a very consistent group - none are excessively shy nor overly confident.  They are a normal, playful, friendly group that enjoys attention and cuddles.  They jump, bite, tug, growl, kiss, play and take turns using the potty box for a bed.  Sigh.

I hope all of you are thinking of names so that I can start introducing them to it as soon as possible.  Names are fun to come up with and I always have an analogy to mine.  A lot of thought is given.
The 'Hazel'nut has a lovely color so hard to describe - not red, nor orange, nor peach or brown but a soft, warm, glowing combo of them all.   It reminds me of fall and her second name of 'Mae' embraces spring - a paradox of the seasons.  So you see, names need to mean something to me. I can't wait to hear what all of you come up with!
The color of a Hazelnut.  :+)

ANNABELLE'S PIPER MOON (RETIRED)

A solid medium, Piper is roughly 32 lbs. and 18 inches. Her soft, fleece coat of ebony silk is simply stunning and her personality happy and loving.

Adult Piper.
Now that Olive is retired, Piper Moon is my hopeful to continue the stunning black Australian Labradoodles that I so dearly love.

Piper lives with our daughter's family in New Hampshire where she happily shares their home with a cat and our handsome grandson.

Baby Piper.

Piper just groomed in a short cut.

I do see Piper often as she is always 'packed' with my grandson when they visit and she meshes in with my doodle crew very well.

My daughter tells me that Piper makes her feel so very special because whether she leaves for 5 minutes or five hours, upon return - Piper turns herself 'inside out' welcoming her home - I know the feeling very well.

I am looking forward to the beautiful puppies Piper Moon will produce for my clients.

They constantly are grabbing toys and playing 'tug o war'.  The ball was a big hit as well and coveted by a couple of the pups especially Pink Girl.   The wrestling goes on every time they are not sleeping!  A couple of times a day, I open up their pen so that they can play in the entire room which makes them all very happy.

They also had a visitor today who thought they were all just adorable and much cuddling was had by all.  :+)

I don't know about the rest of you with regard to preference choices but I am having a hard time picking my two pups.  I really LOVE Green Girl and she is most definitely on my list but all the others are sooooo close.  They surely are a great group of puppies with adorable personalities and mannerisms.

They love their new space and enjoy not having to share it anymore.  Each day brings them closer to gathering the courage to push through the dogie door to venture outside.  I let them take their time.  There have been very few potty box mistakes and I will always find one or two of them sleeping in it routinely no matter what soft bedding I try to entice them to sleep on!  What stinkers!!  :+)

They had their temperament test on Tuesday and it went very well!  Although all were a bit nervous when in the 'new' room for the first time, they were quite brave.  When taken outdoors in the snowy conditions, some tried eating it and others raised their paw like 'what IS this'?  Fortunately, after a bit, they all raised their tails and trotted about.

I have to say, this group is exceptional.  :+)

7 week pics of Camden's group coming tomorrow. Today was

their temperament testing (first one) and also Olive went in for her spay, so she is now retired.  Hopefully, her son Felix Gumshoe and daughters, Figgy Puddin' and Piper Moon will carry on her legacy.  Thank you so much for all your lovely puppies Olive!!  :+)

I also said goodbye to sweet Piper Moon.....

The new addition.

Piper Moon has gone to live with our daughter's family in New Hampshire.  She and our grandson will enjoy lots of room to romp together along with the family cat who appears to be non-plussed about Piper's arrival at their home.  I think it is wonderful that our grandson will grow up with a dog and learn all the responsibility that will involve.  Someday, I hope Piper will produce gorgeous black beauties like she is.  Be good, Piper Moon!!
