Our adventure to the CERF vet.

This is what greeted passerbys in the vet's parking lot!  :+)
Does this not look like these 3 are contemplating jumping???
Charlotte, Ace and Otis changed their minds about the leap.  Good Decision!
Purple Girl  'MADDY' hoping a passerby will come and cuddle her.
Otis, Cisco Blu and Emmett, who look like they are playing Peek A Boo!.

All the pups went on a road trip to my CERF vet on Thursday.  No one vomited or salivated either way to or from.  It was a terrific trip!  On the way there, all of them seemed to have something to say and I expected that.  On the way home, however, they were quiet as church mice.

While in the parking lot waiting for the drops to dilate their pupils, several visitors came by to pat and cuddle with the pups - they loved it.  Several dogs walked by and all the pups were very curious but none barked.

Their exams went well - no eye disease was noted and that is a good thing.  They were happy to finally arrive home so they could go outside to RUN!

On Monday, they have another trip to my regular vet to get their first shots - ouch!

Tomorrow I will post individual pics.  Today, the rain was too heavy and the pups looked like drowned rats as they still went out to play.  A really messy puppy room right now.  Ugh.

The playground is so much fun!

The pups get 'training' by my adult dogs.  Here they are following Annabelle.
Annabelle is the BEST grandmother!
Of course, people are a big attraction, too.  :+)
Oh, oh.  No shoes, Ace!
Where is the water for our boat???
They do share - food and toys.  Good puppies!
The pups love going through these holes!
The clubhouse is getting well used.
Love this shot of Purple Girl.  (Available)
They enjoy digging out 'treasure' from their sandbox.
Another fun toy - the rope tug!

We had visitors again today and boy oh boy do they love the attention!

It was love at first site.
Although this family would have been happy with any of the pups......
Blue Boy was their favorite.
Blue Boy was a perfect choice for them.  Now we wait for his name!

T. W. HEDY REED BLOOM of ADNE has a name change! (Guardian Home candidate)

Tango Wool CHARLOTTE TWO-STEP of ADNE

When a breeder uses the stud from another program, it is customary to preface your potential keeper with their kennel name.  Since Rodeo is owned by Marci of Tango Wool Labradoodles in Massachusetts and she uses a musical theme, I thought adding 'Two-Step' would be appropriate.

Let's also take into consideration that Charlotte's mom is Figgy Puddin`- a holiday dessert; and the word CHARLOTTE means a 'dessert of stewed fruit over a sponge cake'.  Being that Charlotte IS the color of a sponge cake - creamy in the center with just enough crispy edges, the two names together combine perfectly.

Charlotte will do well in a family with children, just adults or anything in between.  A very solid pup in both conformation and personality.

Enjoying the play area with the trainer after temperament assessments.

As you can see, the pups love to be near you.

All the pups wanted to be near Sue outdoors and loved running around and sniffing all the stuff out there.  Tomorrow, I hope to take more pics of them enjoying the area.

Sue is owner of Real - Life Canine Academy:  http://www.reallifecanineacademy.com.  She was very pleased how all of them were very active outdoors doing all the normal things puppies do when in a new area.

7 weeks - What a BUSY day!

Blue Boy 'CISCO BLU ' - 6 3/4 lbs.

Purple Girl  'MADDY' - 7 1/4 lbs.
Black Boy 'OTIS' - 8 3/4 lbs.
Red Girl - Tango Wool 'CHARLOTTE TWO-STEP' of ADNE - 6 1/2 lbs.
Orange Boy 'EMMETT PICCOLO' - 5 1/2 lbs.
Green Boy 'ACE' - 7 1/2 lbs.
Wow!  What a busy day!  The trainer came this morning and spent several hours here assessing the puppies.  She enjoyed them so much.

Although temperament testing at this time is in no way 'foolproof', it does give a great window into what their personalities lean towards - high energy, couch potato, aggression, sensitivities, etc.  It is a wonderful tool for me to make assignments based on the research and dog experience of the trainer.  None of the pups showed any red flags towards food guarding which is terrific.  They all love to be held and patted.   Some were more sensitive than others but the continuation of working with a trainer and puppy socialization classes will give them the courage they need to become more confident.  Puppies that learn with their owners become very bonded and want to please so continue positive methods and you will be greatly rewarded!

All of you have been emailed with your puppy assignments.  If any of you are not pleased in any way, contact me and we will see about a refund or placement on another litter.  Enjoy the pics and I look forward to their NAMES!  I have two already - yeah!!!

Everybody loves a puppy!

I am ever so grateful for people to come over and interact with the puppies.  Today, Figgy's guardian brought her over for a visit to see her six babies.  Figgy allowed them to nurse even though they are fully weaned.  Then 'two legged' family members enjoyed hugging and playing with the puppies for a while.  Puppies come in a 'one size fits all' when it comes to hugging and patting!  Thank goodness!!  :+)
