Just for all you moms out there.....
An interesting link for pet buyers to read regarding your pup/dog diet.
Inquiries are being made about what food to feed your new puppy. As most of you know, I have never been an advocate for commercial pet food until I read and saw the benefits of LIFE'S ABUNDANCE.
I AM an advocate for an excellent and complete raw diet but not all pet owners have the advantage of a husband who raises organic chicken and veggies like I do for their doodles! In lieu of doing that, I strongly suggest that all my puppy buyers feed LIFE'S ABUNDANCE SMALL DOG/PUPPY food for at least their first year. I now add LA to my doodles' diet each and every day and they love it! I am thrilled to have finally found a kibble that is made from such quality ingredients with great customer service and auto ship!

I can't believe that in 5 weeks, you will have your pups.
Isn't it amazing how quickly time is going by? Today, as I was taking their 5 wk pics and weighing them, I realized we are halfway through their stay with me. In about a week or so, Tillie will be going back to her guardians and these pups will be outdoors exploring the outside pens and becoming rambunctious. Baby teeth will be fully in place and yelps will be heard as they learn bite inhibition.
As you have seen, I change up their puppy pen indoors almost daily. I switch potty boxes, sleeping quarters, toys, noises, textures as well as bowls. Bombarding them with new experiences enhances their ability to 'handle' new situations.
Yesterday, my neighbors grandchildren came over to entertain the pups for a little while. Two very sweet girls that love animals. I was grateful for their visit as another visitor had to cancel due to sickness. The more visitors, the better! :+)

Today we had our first 'official' visitors!
I have to say that I was so thrilled with these children! So well behaved and listened totally to my rules about being with the pups.
I think the pics speak for themselves.
Such a great first meeting for the pups. I think all had a wonderful time and I am sure the return trip was of 'when are we bringing our puppy home?'

The pups enjoy the baby mat!
The afternoon became cloudy today so it was a great time for me to catch some pics of the pups playing on the baby mat. They think it is pretty fun!

Four weeks old and the world is becoming their oyster. :+)
Yesterday, I posted a number of pics showing how their week has progressed. They have mastered lapping up their Goat's Milk swirled with Gerber Infant Meat. Learning that balls roll, even the spiky ones; and the water bowl quenches thirst.
Wrestling is their favorite past-time as they learn dog skills; and use of the litter box is coming along nicely. They don't panic nearly as much when I hold them now as they are becoming more tolerant of paw, ear, mouth and belly touches.
I added a section to their area for exploration which will change and enlarge often as they grow. I bet in another week, weather dependent, they will be introduced to the outdoors!
By the way, visitors are now welcome with appointments. Of course, this is limited to current owners and their friends and families.
