I was reminded via an email that Friday marks the beginning of your journey to this world. I know much has happened since that wonderful day so sending early birthday wishes to CISCO, MADDY, ACE, OTIS, CHARLOTTE AND EMMETT! May all of you have many, wonderful birthdays.

Tate O'Reilly and Thomas have had a couple of dates. :+)
I will not know for at least a month if the matings have been successful but we are sure hoping that this 'perfectly matched' couple will provide us with some colorful puppies in August. List is closed at this time.
Tate is considered a small Australian Labradoodle at roughly 27 lbs. and 16 inches in height. She has a glorious coat of soft fleece and has liver pigment with hazel eyes. She is the apple of her guardian's eye for sure!
A mating with Thomas, a medium sized redhead from Tip of the Shore Labradoodles will produce a variety of sizes if all our efforts are successful.
The good looks, health scores and wonderful personalities of these two should produce an exceptional litter for ADNE. I am looking for two local guardian homes for two females from this litter.
Thank you Jackie for being a joy to work with. :+)

Visitors to play with the pups and to showcase Olive and her son, Felix Gumshoe.
My guardian for Felix Gumshoe visited yesterday with her children. Felix lives in Brewer, Maine and his guardian is always so sweet to let me know when she is heading 'south' and will bring him for me to see. His coloring is akin to burned charcoal - that is the best descriptor I can think of. While he was here, I did some DNA swabs on him to send into one of the dog color labs to help determine what dilutions he might carry. It will be very interesting to see what the results say.
Thank you for posing with Felix, Bri!
I do believe Olive knew that Felix is her son. Isn't this shot adorable?
As is typical of doodles, they love to be loved, these two are no exception. If a lap is available, a doodle would love to occupy it. :+)
I have been very happy that these pups have had lots of people to visit them. It is so beneficial for pups to meet new people as much as possible to form strong bonds with humans. Of course, there were many more pics of Josh with these pups, but I think you get the idea that both pups and Josh were thoroughly enjoying themselves.

Another busy day at ADNE!
Yesterday, I spent most of the day fighting traffic in the Boston/Cape Cod area to get Tate O ' Reilly bred. It was made palatable because Tate's guardian was with me but it is not a trip I would want to repeat soon. I have an aversion to cities and excessive traffic!
Today, it was surgery day for Daisy, Elvis and Sir Winston and I arrived early in the morning to drop them off. They also did blood work, received their microchip, had their stools checked once again and wrote out their Health Certifications.
While Pippin's siblings were at the vet, I took her for a walk in the stroller and prepared the puppy room for the arrivals needing to be picked up later in the day.
They are not happy in the enclosed pens but need to be kept relatively quiet for a couple of hours. Immediately when home, I gave each one a small bowl of food and will give another in a couple of hours. I always want to be sure it is staying down and their bodily functions are working after the surgery. Most of them are whining but that is to be expected.
Tomorrow they will be doing much better and the hardest thing will be preventing them from licking the surgery site. Cones may be needed but we will see what tomorrow brings. They will also have visitors tomorrow in the late afternoon.
By the way, the pups had many cuddles at Broadview Animal Hospital. Their staff of vet techs are extremely caring and always want to make the stay as positive as possible. It is a wonderful place and I am very lucky to have such a fabulous vet facility.
Lastly, I wanted to share this adorable picture of Pippin with one of my friends mothers who loves dogs and especially puppies. It made her day (and mine.) Doesn't this classy lady have beautiful skin?

Pippin really missed her siblings.
Although not happy being enclosed, they are doing well. Yes, even Pippin has to be contained. Intro to crate training has begun at ADNE.

We had a few things on our agenda today.
Bright sunshine and warm temps prompted me to set up the Tugboat and put some water in it to entice the pups to check it out. No one jumped in willingly, but they certainly gave it a thorough lookie-loo. I will keep it out and fill it as the weather allows.
The pups love being outdoors and find all kinds of entertainment.
In the afternoon, we all headed to the CERF vet in Portsmouth, N.H. This is the pups first long car ride and they were wonderful.
'Come see what this is'! says Elvis.
'Do you think it is very deep'? asks Pippin.
'Naaaa, the ball is in there and it is fine', claims Winston.
'Very interesting., but I am not going to be the first one in', states Daisy.

Tug o War is fun.
The Caterpillar Tunnel is always a hit.
Some times you just need a time out of all the playing.
Resting up for the next go around!

I put them in my portable 'Zip X-Pen'. Once all are in, I put the cover on so they can't jump out.
Here is the hospital that we go to for CERF exams.
This is Dr. Cassotis who always enjoys giving my pups their eye exams.

Ultra Grammy, Annabelle, teaching Tillie's pups 'dogie' manners.
Annabelle is the ultimate grandma - always has been. She was an incredible mother when she had babies and believes in 'continuing education' with all litters born here at ADNE. :+)
Annabelle is initiating play.
Annabelle acting 'regal'.
All the pups are showing 'respect' differently. Daisy is lying down, Pippin is sitting; Winston and Elvis are carefully watching and keeping their distance but focused.
Notice the heads of the pups - they are bent admitting Annabelle is in charge.
Daisy and Elvis enjoying a good back scratch.

Here are their spontaneous pics and weights for Week 8.
This all would have been done much sooner if my computer Mouse had not died on me in the middle of all this. That meant a drive to the store to get a new one. However, this has been a very busy week for me as I am also in the middle of Tate O'Reilly getting ready for her date with Thomas. So there have been numerous irons in the fire!
So, I have tried to compensate with several posts and pics to make up for it. I warn you, the upcoming week may be worse, so PLEASE be patient! :+)
