Teal Boy is SOLD! Waiting for his name.

A change of heart occurred and Teal Boy is now available  (SOLD). This has surely been quite an active blog today!

This is one chunky monkey - the word 'rugged' doesn't do him justice.

Teal Boy scored a 7.5 in his assessment - Puppies who score in the 7 to 12.5 range are categorized as 'Moderate Persistence' pups. These pups require training and are willing to learn and please.

During his assessment session with my trainer, she described him as such:
loves interaction
  • being held
  • licks a lot
  • playful - a bit shy at first with toys but then is very eager
  • confident outdoors and loves to explore
  • respectful of reaching into his food bowl (no aggression)
  • active family pup

Inquisitive pup.

Likes to play. Maybe a 'fetch' kind of guy?

Showing off his tan markings.

Seamus states: 'Maybe if I close my eyes, she will STOP taking my pictures!'

Check this post for assignment confirmations!

Sue, my trainer, enjoyed this litter very much. She is in all the pics with your pups. These were taken during the 'outdoor' segment of her testing assessments.

I encourage all new owners to be thinking of a name and getting it to me asap so I can get all the paperwork done.

Each pup will be added to this post as confirmations come in. Really excited to get the NAMES!

Black Boy is named 'CLARENCE'! I love it when a new owner has a name already picked out. Does he not 'own' the front yard? Very confident, energetic pup that will thrive on exercise and lots of interaction.
Pink Girl is 'HANNAH McCALL and will be a breeding hopeful for ADNE. She is smart but has caution.
She prefers people to toys and will do well in a quiet home with gentle friends.
It took a little while for Caramel Boy - now called 'BUSTER' to begin to overcome his caution, but once done, he had a wonderful time chasing Sue. Buster is a thinker and likes to be with people rather than toys. His cuddly, relaxed nature is perfect for the quiet family that is adopting him.

Teal Boy (waiting for his name)  has just a smidgen of shyness, but is overall a confident, playful, exploratory pup who loves interaction and cuddles. He gives kisses and is respectful of food.  My trainer called him 'the class clown'!
PURPLE GIRL is now 'LACEY'
This mini mite needs a home with experience/another dog/or a stay at home parent willing to take her everywhere and socialize her really well. Lacey ADORES people and well behaved children.
Loves to be held..but she needs a leader to bring out the best in her.

Green Boy is now 'BREWSTER'.
What a wholesome male! Sweet, calm, loving, trusting with just enough energy to make any family a fabulous companion.

Tomorrow is temperament testing of Charlotte x Rocky's litter!

Happily, I have a guardian home for Hannah McCall and I am sure the clients that have sent deposits are anxiously waiting to see which one will be their new companion. I will be so happy to know what pup will be available for sale and I can get to the business of preparing the puppy packets for December 12th pick ups. So, stick around for my phone call!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We are now looking forward to the Christmas holiday season and sharing all the wonders with our grandchildren. :+)

SEVEN WEEKS! Charlotte x Rocky litter are 'little doggies' now.

This has been the week of outdoor experiences! The pups are enjoying the outdoor playtime and some have learned to use their weight to open the dogie door. A few are still a bit hesitant but gaining courage.

They love romping all over the place and sometimes Daisy goes out with them and stirs everything up by leaping and racing in circles around the caterpillar tunnel. The pups try to follow but it is like watching a slow motion movie as Charlotte is behind and passing before they get several steps in. :+)

Eating like champs now and look forward to feeding times. They are doing lots of potties outdoors when I send them out but indoor potties are still 'hit or miss'.

Coats are coming in thick and fluffy and eye trims are always necessary.

All the pups are wearing a 'Giving Thanks' scarf to celebrate the holiday! Enjoy your Thanksgiving everyone and I hope you 'gobble till you wobble' with friends and family.  :+)

The Teal Boy  weighs 7 1/2 lbs at 7 weeks.

Black Boy is 5 lbs at 7 weeks.

Caramel Boy tips the scale at 4 3/4 lbs. :+)

Purple Girl is 5 lbs at 7 weeks.

Pink Girl, named Hannah, is 6 lbs at 7 weeks. Hannah is looking for a local guardian home!

Green Boy at 7 weeks weighs 5 3/4 lbs.

A couple of videos of the pups for you to enjoy over Thanksgiving break!

Here are the six week pics for Charlotte's litter!

Sorry for the delay but had two dogs get into rat poison and it has been a very busy 36 hours at the vets! Both will be fine, thank goodness but BIG lesson learned for hubby.

The pups are becoming busy bodies - some more than others but enjoying some brief time outdoors. They are monopolizing the puppy room and enjoying a few visitors. Teeth and nails are sharp, eye trims are needed weekly and clean ups are all up to me as Charlotte is back home 100%. I hope it won't be too rainy tomorrow so they can enjoy some fresh air. Hubby did finish putting up a roof to keep the snow off of them but there are a few tiny nail holes that might leak raindrops!

6th week - Purple Girl 4 1/2 lbs. Coming into her own. A 'smarty pants'. Only pup that can use the dogie door at this time.

6th week. - Teal Boy 6 3/4 lbs. Loves to be on a lap getting all the attention. Likes to play tug.

6th week - Black Collar Boy 4 1/4 lbs - full of energy and charm!

6th week - Caramel Collar Boy 4 1/4 lbs. A somewhat quiet and gentle personality.

6th week - Green Collar Boy 5 1/4 lbs. - another soft tempered boy much like Caramel.

6th week. - Pink Collar Girl 5 1/4 lbs. My keeper for an ADNE Guardian Home. 'Sweet and Sour' like a good sauce!
