CHARLOTTE'S LITTER APPTS. and PICK UP DATE UPDATED!

To clarify:

Go home date is February 25th at 1:30 pm by unanimous vote! I may have made a mistake stating March 25th which is incorrect and I apologize!

Appts:

  • February 15th WEDNESDAY - Temperament Tests and assignments in the late pm.  When I call, please have a name ready - VERY IMPORTANT! The following vet appointments need names on the paperwork! If you already know what you will name a male or a female, let me know asap.
  • February 17th - Pups will have their Parvo Virus and Distemper vaccines
  • February 20th - Eye exam appointments
  • February 22nd - Ovary Sparing Spays for the girls and a vasectomy for Eben
  • February 25 - PICK UP DAY!
Due to scheduling, I could only get their surgeries on 2/22. This means that the pups will still be in the recovery mode. Although they will feel fine and act normal, it is very important that adults manage kids at this time to prevent any accidents. We want the surgeries to heal properly. Keeping the pup on the quiet side (no romping outdoors, no stair climbing, no baths). Yes, you can gently play with your pups but no rough housing for 10 days. Walks are fine, cuddling is fine and gentle play only until fully healed.

All pups will have a bath the day before surgery.

For convenience sake, I am going to post the families here with regard to Pick Up Day standings.
  • Simonds Family - Sat., but open to either date and prefer 1:30 pm
  • Mollano Family - Sat., but open to either date and prefer 1:30 as well.
  • Fish Family - Sat., and prefer 1:30 pm
  • Fuhrer Family - unanimous! PICK UP DAY IS SATURDAY, FEB. 25TH AT 1:30 PM

CHARLOTTE X KEEFER - WEEK 5

We are now in the process of weaning Charlotte from her puppies. As of today, the pups are being fed a mush three times per day and Charlotte's meals have been reduced to just a normal feeding of food in the am and pm. She no longer is with the pups during the night, so they look forward to their morning meal!

Hopefully, by the onset of the weekend, Charlotte will be back home with her guardians - her task being completed.  :+)

Accordingly, the pups' litterbox has also been switched to their permanent one which has potty pellets in it and now becomes my full time job to clean up potty messes. Charlotte has been the most 'Supreme Clean Mommy' and I sure hope I can fill her boots! Ha, ha.

Silver Belle would rather be playing than having her pic taken.  5 lbs.

Holly Berry was such a sport about her photo session this week. 5 lbs.

Missy Toe is bright and cheery after her snooze. 4  7/8 lbs.

Ebenezer wishes he had 40 more winks. 5  1/4 lbs.

HAZEL MAE X TANGO WOOL BO DIDLEY - UPDATE!!!

Spring should welcome a litter from Hazel x Bo Didley if all goes well. I traveled to Western Massachusetts for Hazel's rendezvous.

This Australian Labradoodle litter will produce apricots and blacks in sizes ranging from 15 to 18 inches and 24 to 32 lbs. Pups should be non-shedding with lovely fleece coats.

Hazel Mae is a mini.

Tango Wool Bo Didley is a medium.

Those interested in this litter need to be open to both colors; if not, you should continue looking for other breeders that have your color choice. I don't expect any litters again until some time this fall.

I do plan to keep a female puppy from this mating for a local guardian placement.

UPDATE:  Hazel and Bo had two rendezvous that put smiles on their furry faces. I have to say Bo Didley is a stunning male with a gorgeous, black wavy fleece coat that is soft and luxurious. As you may know, black is my favorite doodle color and I sure hope others enjoy my penchant for this glorious shade!  I expect pups to have charcoal button noses, soft wavy fleece and social temperaments.  Bo is the 'greeter' at a bed and breakfast in Westfield, Massachusetts. He is such a gentleman. :+)

The pups enjoy the PlaySkol 2-Stepper.

I thought I would try the slide in their pen not knowing if they would be strong enough to enjoy it but the pics tell the story!

A new 'label' for clients regarding TRAINERS.

I just received this link:  http://www.zendogtraining.net/our-trainers/elissa-carreras/ from a pet owner who claims this trainer is remarkable for families with children in the Boston area. So, I will continue to add links to this label in hopes my future and existing clients who require services in this area will check it out.

Thank you Amy for sharing!

Pics sent to me by our visitors last weekend. THANK YOU!

I did do some editing to reduce size and added frames.

Also, they are needing more space so I added some and switched some things around - adding new stuff for them to 'socialize' with.

An 'ariel' view of the changes.

Some snuggled immediately with their new friend, Mr. Frog who has cuddled many previous litters.

There is always one that travels a different path. :+)
