Felix (RETIRED) arrives for the weekend. :+)

I was delighted to have Felix visit as his new guardians were busy attending a soccer game marathon locally. Plus, I wanted to give him a trim and a bath now that we were positive of his placement. He was a gem the whole time, going outside to potty, staying in the tub for his bath and being brave when I used the clippers on him. He had a marvelous time wrestling and tugging on all the girls and they enjoyed him as well.

He is a black carbon copy of his maternal grand-daddy, Rumple and a total lovebug.

  1. OMG! Thank goodness this guy found a home because me and my kids almost had my husband talked into the "phone call". We wanted him so bad he is absolutely FAB U LOUS!

    Happy Trails Felix!

  2. :+) He found a home just recently with a family who was more than willing to make the long drive to accommodate me. They are loving and responsible and their first choice for a color was BLACK! I have to say, Jill, that Felix is SUCH a special boy! But we make lots of 'special' pups, don't we??? :+)

Keep in mind, that I will be looking for a guardian home for a female if my next litter from Clara X Clifford takes. HINT!!

  3. We are so happy to see that Brewster's brother found a wonderful home! YAY FELIX! One quick question, you wrote that his dad is Rumple - it's Chico - right? Brewster continues to be just the most fabulous pup! Cannot get enough of him! Hope all is well, Amy:-)

  4. Yes, Chico is the father. However, Olive's dad is Rumple and Felix favors him a lot! I should have said 'Grandfather, Rumple'. Thanks for picking up on that!

  5. He reminds me so much of Brewster - the head shape (and signature tilt:-) and coat. Such handsome brothers! We were almost at your doorstep begging to have Felix join our troop - sounds like a great family for him! Amy:-)

  6. I have to say that litter was fabulous and will probably be repeated. Temperaments, body type, broad heads, amazing coats and overall health were a winning combination! Why mess with 'near perfection'?

  7. I have to tell you that our dog trainer today said that Brewster was about as perfect a puppy as one could wish for. At only 22 weeks, he is just amazing! Cannot thank you enough. Love the pics of Phin!

  8. Well then he must be just like Felix, who I had here for quite sometime. I kept telling everyone, it is like I don't have a pup - he is so compliant, smart, willing to please and listens. The guardians for him are simply amazed as well. Must be in the genes, I say! :+)

  9. I have to say, that Felix looks like an identical twin to Lily! No wonder they hung around together so much - they could pass as clones. She is so much like Olive in every way - personality, temperament, and that beautiful coat. Plus, she keeps Jasper on his toes!

  10. Hey Claudia! Good to hear from you! If Lily is like Felix, you certainly have a gem. Isn't that coat just to die for??? I have said over and over that Olive has the easiest and most beautiful coat to maintain. The snarls simply 'slide away'.

So, is Jasper enjoying his little sister?
