Received this adorable pic of Finley watching over her charge the other day.

Generally, I don't sell pets to families with very young children but I did make an exception with this family and I am glad I did as surely, they were a perfect fit.

It is not the clearest of pics but it was sent to me by his dad via his phone but you get the message.

I am so proud to announce that little Merry Pippin has passed her Canine Good Citizenship test!

WOW! What an accomplishment! Pippin will be a year old next month and has done extremely well. Both she and her guardian must have worked very hard.  :+)

It isn't difficult to see that Dublin is her daddy as she looks like a mini 'Dub' -  such people pleasers with great genes to pass down!

CONGRATULATIONS TO PIPPIN AND ROSEMARY!

It is not often that I receive pics of recently placed pups at the same time but the three pups from TILLIE (not Figgy!) and Emmett's litter did just that!

What brave souls to deal with the potty training that THIS winter dealt us. Typically, it is not so severe but January and February of 2015 was certainly the exception!

So, here are the threesome that are just about 16 weeks old in these pics.  I am sure all of us are breathing a sigh of relief that the snow and ice are behind us. Of course, MUD SEASON is what we have to look forward to... wait, wait ... mud season isn't bad, right??  :+)

Adorable Harrison who went to Tango Wool Labradoodles for a potential stud.

Handsome Louie, who lives in the Boston area who embraced the cat and furry 'brother'.

Sweet Georgia Brown, who will hopefully become an Annabelle Doodle mommy in the future. Georgie is in dire need of an eye trim! I forgot to pack my scissors... darn! She lives with her mommy, Tillie. Quite the duo!

YEA! Piper and Dublin's first (and second) date were a success!

I am happy to report that all went well with both matings and now we wait. Dublin has a wonderful style and grace about mating - always wooing, being very gentle and kind to convince the girl that he really is 'the man' for her. I love a confident, patient stud.

So I would say to all those on Piper's list that puppies should be arriving in May along with bright yellow daffodils and purple lilacs in bloom.  :+) What a nice picture that makes in my head as I look at the mounds and mounds of snow still in my yard.

Tip O'Keefe, stud for ADNE - RETIRED

Keefer's testing results shows a clean bill of health and I am very excited to see what he brings to ADNE and the breeding community.

Keefer playing with a wood chip at 16 wks.

A gorgeous red stud muffin who I hope will be used on most of my medium sized females. His guardian family has been doing a wonderful job of training him.

Keefer will bring great color and keep the incredibly soft fleece coat strong in my program. His beautiful color stops people in their tracks.

Keefer's mom is Annabelle's Tate O'Reilly, a lovely caramel color and his sire is Tip of the Shore Thomas, a strong red carrier.

Three weeks old.

A wee babe at 1 week.

Seven weeks.
Five months.

Keefer at one year - 37 lbs.

What his guardians have to say:

Joyce and her program is absolutely fabulous.  We were referred to her by a friend when we decided it was time to start looking for a dog.  She has been so helpful, full of knowledge and runs truly a very ethical program.  With all of that she is also very nice, compassionate, loves all of the dogs and works endlessly to ensure you receive a well adjusted happy puppy.  Our Tip has been a wonderful addition to our family.  We get so many compliments on how beautiful he is and his amazing personality.  We are very happy and would highly recommend Joyce and her puppies.
Sandra and Greg Levin

RETIREMENT UPDATE:  Keefer was retired in March of 2017. He simply grew too big for me to use for the females in my program as I prefer to breed minis and mediums. Thank you for your services Keefer!

Piper Moon x Dublin

Hopefully, this month I will be breeding Piper Moon to Dublin for a litter of pups to arrive sometime in May.  I will be taking applications for her 'Wait List' in case she has more pups than expected or an opening becomes available.  It is my preference that any person added to the Wait List be open to color, gender or coat type.

Litter is booked at this time.  Will reopen if more pups are born than expected - hence a 'Wait List'.

Lil' Abner is a small boy in a BIG package! RETIRED

Abner and his guardian mom.

Instead of keeping a female from the Hazel x Emmett litter, I kept Lil' Abner. Initially, he was not my 'first choice', he just grew on me. I loved his temperament, size, tail and ear set. He has expressive eyes and a very loving nature. Abner likes to be with you and is a willing and energetic learner.

I think Lil' Abner will be a great addition to the my program as well as to other Labradoodle stock lines. I enjoy his guardian family very much as they are so committed to maintaining the level of quality my buyers come to expect from my program.

7 weeks
8 weeks - Temperament Test.

8 weeks - Valentine pic.
10 weeks and ready for his new home!

Lil Abner at 1/ 1/2 years of age.

What Abner's guardian has to say about him:
I am absolutely thrilled that Lil' Abner is part of our family.  He is a happy go lucky boy who is always up for a snuggle or a game of fetch. He prefers being by your side to anywhere else.
At 20 pounds, he is easy to pick up and put in the car; easy to bath and doesn't take over the sofa when he sits next to you. At the same time, he is perfectly capable of long walks and playing ball with amazing speed. We call him rocket dog because he is so fast!
His very soft curly coat is easy to take care of with a quick brush once a day which he enjoys. He will go get his brush and drop it at my feet when he wants to be groomed.

Abner is really everything I wanted in a dog for my daughter. He is great with kids and other dogs; he is the happiest dog I know. His tail is always wagging.

Here is our little man at 3 years old. Such a cuddler in so many ways. Abner is a true miniature and loves life to the fullest.

He sired his first miniature litter with Rose of Tralee at Nestlewood Labradoodles and they were the cutest little guys on the planet! Big personalities in a small package for sure.

Full of confidence and personality, Abner is available for stud service to well tested females.

Here are Hazel and Emmett's 'goodbye' pics with their families!

Although Lil Abner is very lonely in that 'big' puppy room now that all his siblings have gone to their new homes, he is getting lots of kitchen time with my house girls and enjoying every minute.

Now, pics of our new placements!

Blue is now being called 'BRADY' instead.  :+)

MAC GREGOR will have acres of farmland to roam in the winter and a sandy beach to frolic with in the summer.
Sigh, we should all be that lucky!

Another Annabelle doodle named Delilah awaits at home to welcome CLEMENTINE.

SAILOR will be sure to fill the hours with lots of smiles for this excited couple.

NOVAK was the last to be picked up and joins Rafa, another Annabelle Doodle.

'BELLA' was the first to go home but the entire family could not come, so this pic was sent to me that evening.

ABNER goes home with his guardians!

I bet many of you are having the same dilemma with a reluctant pup for doing potty outdoors. Abner sure does not want to venture outside too often.  He is using the potty box in the puppy room but mistakes still happen. We all need patience and warm clothes for winter training, especially this winter  which has been abnormally cold.  Brrrr!!

I am so happy we are now in March and I am hopeful temps will begin to rise to at least 30 during the day - that is VERY do-able for training pups.
