Happy Easter everyone!

I just received this wonderful pic of Fiona from the Figgy x Dublin mating. She is 8 months now and a beauty!

I hope everyone is enjoying Easter and kids are looking for eggs 'over and under' to find surprises. Up here, well.... many could be buried in the snow.  It is taking forever to leave!

What a great shot of you ladies!

This is the post where all the pups going home will be on. Phoebe is the first to leave the nest.

I am sure Phoebe's family, especially mom, was very anxious for school to end and begin their drive to pick her up.  Finally, they arrived and Miss Phoebe is on her way to becoming their family companion. I hope Phoebe will be happy to sleep with her Snuggle Puppy tonight. Lots of snuggles for Phoebe tonight and always.  :+)

On Saturday, Fiona was picked up by her owners.  I am sure there will be many play dates with her brother, Keefer as both families are very good friends.

Monty has been sorely waited for by this youngster (and family!).  Not only will he be a best friend to this young owner, but a snuggling companion for his younger brother as well.  Lots of smiles to go around, including mine.

What a perfect placement for Chloe.  She is such a lady and knows she is in good company.  I expect lots of pictures and updates!

This young lady is 11 years old.  I asked her how long she had been wanting a puppy.  Without any hesitation at all, she blurted - ELEVEN YEARS!  I think she is happy and I know the rest of the family will be as well.  Crosby is a big boy with a nice mix of energy and snuggles.

Let's hope all goes well but I want everyone to know I am only a phone call away, so don't hesitate to call with any questions or concerns.  :+)  Joyce

Just to relieve everyone who might be worried about how the spays and neuters went today on Figgy's litter. (PICS!)

They are all fine and fiesty! I did not get back home until 6 pm and it was much too dark to take any pics. I did feed them a small meal and allowed them outdoors briefly for potty and some fresh air. They are now back in the pens (two to a pen) to keep them contained for the evening. Tomorrow, I will take some pics for all of you to see for yourselves that this surgery has such a quick recovery.

Also, they had their microchip, stools checked and their Parvo/Distemper vaccine as I hate to admit it - but in the flurry of having three litters, I neglected to get their vaccine done at 8 weeks.

Now they are happy to be loose to run and play!

Updated: 11/5, the next day.  :+)

Here they are, here they are! Figgy x Dublin 9 week old pics!

Sorry, busy day with hubby doctor appointments as well as eye CERF's for the puppies. Was really wondering if I was going to make it before it got too dark. Golly, the light is leaving us way too early!!  I did this batch with a mirror so there is a reflection of their backs in most of them.

Pups did very well on the drive to Portsmouth, NH with only minor crying that did not last long at all. On the way back, they were very quiet and all went to sleep. Thank you, puppies!  :+)  As is typical, people waiting for their appointments had to come over and pat the pups as I carried them in and out two at a time. All were very willing to be touched and held.

The exams went without a hitch and I got home in time to get the snapshots done.  Now it is time to get dinner for everyone, including the humans!

Phoebe is 8 3/4 lbs.

Crosby is the big one at 10 1/4 lbs.

Peach is now Fiona Bailey and is 10 lbs.

Dainty Chloe is 7 3/4 lbs.

Monty is 8 1/2 lbs.

We had a visitor today - Montaque's (Monty) family came to visit. Also some pics of his siblings. :+)

It was wonderful to see the smiles all around for this very special puppy and how he will bring lots of entertaining activity to their household.

The Figgy x Dublin mating produced a super nice group of puppies.  I may have to repeat it!

Monty's happy family.

Looks like Peachy has a hangover and Phoebe is sympathetic.

Chloe is all alert as Crosby relaxes.

Monty enjoying a rest after all that cuddling from his family.

How to entertain puppies during nasty weather.

Here are pics of Figgy's pups (with Haddie) playing with a box in the pup room. It took them about 15 minutes to even go near 'the big bad box'. Seeing their concern, I went in and began talking to them and all of them came to me but kept one eye on that 'naughty looking' box. After I stepped out, Crosby, who was the one who ran to the far corner initially, got brave and stated chewing on it. Naturally, the rest followed suit and had a wonderful time chewing it to kingdom come! It kept them all busy for more than an hour.

These pups do not mind the rain and the wind. They went outside to potty all day and even played chase in the rain. A mess for me but that is the price you pay for brave little souls enjoying Mother Nature.  :+)

Eight weeks old - just two more weeks to go before Figgy's pups are with their families.

With the placements of Tate's litter and the very busy CERF/Heart Clinic behind me, things are rolling along nicely here at Annabelle Doodles.

Figgy's litter is a carpet of fluffy, happy, active doodles that follow Haddie Mc Gee everywhere. Haddie has really taken on the role of the 'older step sister quite nicely.  I bet in two weeks, most of Figgy's litter will be bigger than Haddie, who is a mini.  I bet Haddie keeps all of them in line though!

I actually took the litter for a ride in the car today just to see if any of them would be uncomfortable or show any signs of stress, like salivation.  None did, they all did quite well with just a couple of weak complaints. :+)

Again, Mother Nature kept the rain at bay and I finished my photo session staying dry. I had to lighten both Crosby and Monty so you could see a bit of their eyes. They are beautifully black.

I love her white toes and chest.
She is a  9 3/4 lb charmer. Waiting for her name!

Chloe (Lime) is the smallest and almost as quiet as Monty.
All 7 lbs. of her wants to be cuddled 24/7.

Phoebe (Lilac) is very sweet with bursts of energy. Pheebz
loves belly rubs. 8 lbs.

Monty (Red) is the most laid back, intuitive pup I have
ever had the pleasure of watching grow. 7 3/4 lbs.

Crosby (Teal) loves life. He is inquisitive yet loving - such a
perfect blend of  'naughty and nice'.  A hefty one at 9 3/4 lbs.

I love it when I have Mother Nature to help with pictures! (FIGGY'S 7 WEEK OLDS)!

The autumn is my favorite time of year.  I am not fond of the summer heat; the fickleness of spring or the ice of winter but I LOVE the time of late summer through mid November.  Back to baking, oven roasts and lots of gorgeous color and textures! I would also like to thank my husband, Carl for providing so many wonderful vegetables for us and the pups to eat and decorate with!

Today's weather was perfect for Figgy's little 'punkins' and I am sure you will agree that each pup was the cutest 'pumpkin' in the wagon!!!  :+)

Teal Boy is the heaviest at this time.  8 lbs.

Gotta love that tongue on Lilac Girl!  6 1/2 lbs.

Dainty Lime Girl is 5 3/4 lbs.

Peach Girl is very inquisitive (and sweet!).  7 1/4 lbs.

Red Boy is 6 1/4 lbs. of  'chill'.

Figgy's sweet puppies are 6 weeks today!

Boy do they just LOVE being combined with Tate's puppies. Both groups have so much fun together. Initially, I was a bit nervous as Tate's pups are quite robust and I thought they would be too rough; but that has not been the case at all. Most of the wrestling has been between the little ones with each other, not their cousins.  :+) They all nap together during the day. The only time I separate them is when food is served and at night.

These little munchkins are sure getting a lot of exercise and sleep deeply after a play session. Every now and again, I will find one of them snuggled with the Lion all alone because they had enough play and needed rest.

Teal Boy is at 6 lbs.

Peach Girl weighs 6 lbs., too!

Little Lime Girl is a 'hefty' 4 1/2 lbs.

Lilac weighs in a 5 1/4 lbs this week.

Red is the lightest boy at 5 lbs.

As you can see, their coats are really 'plumping' up with curls and waves.  I just love how their eyebrows are getting really fluffy as well.  Such a cute stage.  :+)

A perfect day for taking Figgy's pups pics!! (Five weeks old.)

Most people frown on cloudy days but when you have black pups being photographed, you are jumping for joy!!!!  :+)

These pups are growing so quickly and now have personalities showing up, cute expressions and lots of energy.  I still have some flowers in bloom and was tickled to be able to take them to the garden for shots today.

I sure hope that I will have some time to get them outdoors - sooner rather than later as they are ready. They do love mingling with Tate's pups through the fencing and sometimes I will put one in with the older pups to see how they do.  So far, very well but they are not ready to be 'blended' yet.

When Tate's pups are outside engaged in some serious play, I let Fig's pups wander around the pup room sniffing the other pen and checking things out. They get into some very cute stances and do a bit of chasing and it is the cutest thing to watch.  :+)

Peach Girl is 5 lbs.

Lilac Girl is 4 3/4 lbs. this week.

Red Boy weighs 4 1/4 lbs.

Lime Girl is a perfect 4.0 lbs.

Teal Boy is spot on at 5 lbs.
