7 week PICS a day early! DAISY X EMMETT LITTER

Guess what?  Our daughter and family came to visit and I was able to have my grandson hold the pups for a photoshoot.  :+)  It is a chilly, rainy, yucky day, so I figured it would be better to do the 7 week photos today rather than Monday as tomorrow is just too packed with visits and testing.

Hopefully, during the week, I will be able to get other casual shots of the pups for all of you to enjoy. In the meantime, enjoy the 'day early' pics and weights.

Since the day was lousy, both our grandson and the pups wore raincoats and were covered by our porch awning. Both are too sweet to have raindrops 'melt' them.  :+)

We had another couple of new visitors this past week which is terrific and the pups never fail to put a smile on every one's faces.

Eva loved being in the midst of puppy teeth and paws!

Walter and Eva holding a couple of sweeties.

Wendy trying to decide who to pick up next.

Will you be my new companion?

Or will it be YOU???  Such a dilemma!!

Time to join my sisters for a nap.

Ah, a nice soft pillow to lay my head on.

Some like to nap while others still enjoy the play-yard.

Let's wrestle!

Hey! You are not our mommy but the ICON, Annabelle!

Where did you come from? How old are you? Do you have any milk to share?

Wanna play chase???

Doing pretty well with responses!

Some of you have contacted me with names, what you will feed, payment, pick up times and pup preferences - which is great!

So, to keep you abreast this is the scenario:

  • By far, the favored pick up time is on Saturday, Oct. 14th at 10:30 am, so this is what we will go with.  A couple of people have selected Friday, Oct. 13th at 4 pm and I would like one or two more people to join that time slot if at all possible. That way, I will have enough room for  the rest to come on Saturday morning.  Please let me know who can make the Friday pick up spot.  :+)  So far, both the Jones and Kasell families will be coming on Friday.
  • I still need some names, so please send those in.
  • Also, these families need to tell me what type of diet you will be feeding - Walsh, Blumberg, Prellwitz and Swartz.  Will it be commercial or raw?
Beginning Oct. 7th, I cannot accommodate any more visits as I need the week for numerous vet visits and to get paperwork done.

Make sure you check out the Pup Supply List on the AnnaBlog and to order your Snuggle Puppy!

Tomorrow is a crazy busy day with a couple of visits and Temperament Testing in the afternoon. I will contact each of you with your assignment.  If you are not home, I will leave a message for you to return my call.  I am not sure when I will get to individual pictures but they will be done at some point - maybe Monday.  We shall see.  :+)

Here are some pics of our pup visitors this week.

I love having puppy owners visit and interact with the pups. They all have so much fun and always have lots of questions to ask. It is so good to have people researching and wanting to know what is best and how to achieve being a responsible pup owner. I can say it is an ever evolving process because I am still learning almost every day as well.  :+)

Thanks for visiting!  For privacy purposes, I left out names.

Red Collar Boy found a friend.

One pup found a lap 'just the right size'.

Pups and kids.

'Want a kiss'? asks Pink Girl.

Puppies love hugs!

'These laps are taken'!

I think Brown Collar Male is trying to roll over.  :+)

Awww... Lil Orange Girl fits in the palm of his hand.

DAISY AND EMMETT'S LITTER ARE SIX WEEKS OLD!

I can't believe in three weeks, they will be going home to their owners. It surely has been a summer full of puppies and this week, it STILL feels like summer! I am NOT complaining though!!

The pups are loving being outdoors and readily go out and in the dogie door. Many times, I will find some outdoors taking a nap while others mosey on in the pup room and plop there for their snooze.  I put them in their pens several times a day just to keep some sort of a schedule but I must say, having nine fur babies keeps me wondering where the day went.

Sundays especially fly by because that is picture day and it takes hours to set up, take retakes and then post. However, here they are - better late than forgotten!  :+)

This sweet girl will be bred this winter for early spring pups.

Miss Charlotte 2-Step will have her last litter for ADNE in 2018.  My hope is to breed her to Wyatt Slurp if he passes his testing regimen in October.  The breeding should produce another 'rainbow' litter of blacks, creams and chocolate(s) in medium sizes (range of 30 to 40 lbs.) There is a possibility of a parti or phantom arriving as well but that will depend on how the 'color genes' line up. If a female of either pattern arrives, I would be interested in putting her in a guardian home if she is an excellent breeding prospect.

Here is a pic of this dynamic duo!

Charlotte 2-Step is a beautiful cream with a black nose and eye pigment.  Her coat is full of fleecy soft waves.
She loves balls and to play games and is a wonderful mother to her pups.

Wyatt Slurp looks like a western movie cartoon character! He has a straight hair coat that does not shed.
Although Wyatt was born chocolate, he is lightening up to either cafe or lavender which is typical
of most chocolates in our hybrid.  Wyatt loves the water and to chase wild geese.  He is very
well trained with a loving, goofy personality. Fingers crossed he passes testing!

If Wyatt does not pass his testing to my level, I will choose a different stud for Charlotte. I have not made that choice yet.

DAISY X EMMETT FIVE WEEK OLD PICS AND WEIGHTS!

As the two posts before this one, we generally have busy days with play time and visits! This week, if we don't have rain, I hope to entice them to come outdoors for the first time. It is always an interesting experience. I take bets with myself about who will venture to the door opening first and take the first step down the ramp. I predict it will be Orange Girl. We shall see.  :+)

DAISY X EMMETT - FREE TIME AT WEEK FIVE!

The puppies love to play in the pup room as I am cleaning their area each day. When people visit, they also have the option to come out and interact.  I keep their gate open so they can make the choice. Some are soooo sleepy, they continue to snooze for a bit before joining the foray.  Others play and explore and then get sleepy and go to snuggle with the stuffed animals inside their play pen.

Here are some pics of them just enjoying their free time.  :+)
