Always smiling.
Beautiful 'Holiday Figgy Puddin' was mated successfully to Tango Wool's Copeland Rodeo aka Cooper.  A stunning litter is expected sometime in mid June.   An ultra sound will be done in approximately 30 days for confirmation purposes.

This mating will produce blacks and cream or apricots with fleecy coats.  There is a possibility that silvers or blues may also be in the color scheme due to Figgy being a 'Lavender' dilute.  Color genetics are quite complicated and there are not tests for every combination so we happily take whatever combos Mother Nature provides.

These pups should have lovely conformation in a medium in size with fabulous temperaments.  The weight range will be roughly 32 to 35 lbs. and height 18 to 19 inches.

  1. Word, that Figgy Puddin is one beautiful dog! Gorgeous, gorgeous color! And Rodeo is just adorable - we can't wait to see what the puppies from this duo look like!

Fingers crossed that all goes well :-)

  3. Thanks! I am waiting patiently for Figgy to actually begin her breeding career. We will go for another vet check in a week or so. :+)

  4. Our "puppy jar" is filling up little by little :-) We are all agreed that another doodle is in our future, and we're all agreed we'd like a "mini," we are in complete chaotic disagreement about color, and we all agree that, when the stars align, we'll know our pup when we see it. So, I think this means I can stop pining every time you breed lol!

    1. Just to clarify a little: we are all agreed that another Annabelle doodle is in our future :-)

    3. All your dogs and pups are stellar, Joyce! There's no pressure, because there are no bad options lol! You make life a little easier for those of us smitten by the doodle :-) My biggest problem is that I want one from every litter lol!

We are having our roof replaced, and Albert has taken a liking to Dave, the owner of the business. Surprising, because Albert usually takes a lot longer to warm up to men than women. Not surprising, because Dave is a heck of a nice guy. What's cracking us up is that Albert knows the sound of the back up beep on Dave's truck. It's the same sound on every truck in the neighborhood - and there is no shortage of this sound around here. But he runs to the window nearest the driveway and starts whimpering and whining - something he NEVER does, EVER - anytime he knows it's *his* truck, until we let him out to greet Dave. He's like a lovesick puppy. It's very charming :-)

    4. Dogs always know a great person. Most of my decisions are based on how my dogs react to someone. It has always proven to be a smart decision. :+)
