Clara Belle arrived last night and is very comfortable at her birthplace. :+)
Today, I decided to give her a clipping for easy cleaning during her whelp. It will also allow the pups to nurse without getting tangled up in long fur. Due to the late breeding, I am not expecting a large litter from Clara, but I know there are a few in there!!!

Hi Joyce! She is adorable!!!! Brewster got back from the groomers a little while ago and is all ready for his first Thanksgiving Feast - such the handsome boy:-) We were at friends today with him and they completely fell for him! Hope you have a very Happy Thanksgiving! Tell Olive we say hi! Amy:-)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Amy! I am keeping my fingers crossed that Clara remains nice and calm. She is not due on Thanksgiving, but Mother Nature is known to throw in a trick or two to keep things interesting. :+)

ReplyDeleteI know! She is only carrying 2 or 3 pups as I bred her too late. She is such a great girl to have here though. Well behaved and easy to live with. Cute as a button and I hope the pups have some of her markings. :+)
