Figgy is in heat and we are going to breed her to Tip O'Keefe!

I received the call last night that Figgy Puddin` has begun her heat cycle and we will be preparing for her date with Keefer. This will be her last litter for ADNE and we hope her retirement group will be fabulous.

I will update with postings as things progress.

Believe it or not, Figgy is a 'chocolate' Australian Labradoodle that carries the double dilute gene which has turned her color to Lavender. She is a very sturdy 35 lbs. and 18 inches tall.  She likes to hold a conversation with you and even lets you know when she would like a carrot or what toy she would like to play with.
Figs is a sweet girl that loves people and couches.

I am going to use my Keefer instead of my original choice of  Dublin due to a snag in Dublin's schedule.
Keefer is the same size as Dublin but is a dark red instead of apricot. He has an outgoing, happy
personality and is the apple of his guardians' eyes. This mating has the potential to produce a
rainbow litter which may include pup colors in apricot/red, caramel, chocolate or black.

  1. Oooh, I've been waiting to see a Keefer litter. Do you still think he has the Rufus gene? What a glorious color that boy has.

  2. Yes, he does. There is a high possibility that this will be a 'Rainbow' litter which could produce Blacks, Chocolates, Apricots, Caramels and Reds. We shall see what Mother Nature has in store for us with this combination. :+)
