Aside from the lovely mothering pics below, mommy and puppies visited my vet this afternoon to be sure that mom's milk is in and that she has 'cleaned' out her uterus properly. All the newborns were also checked and their dew claws removed. Each pup has gained weight and Dr. Estle remarked on how healthy, plump and beautiful Mom and pups were. An excellent report! :+)

| Clara is very attentive to her new babies. She is always listening and checking on them to be sure all is well and they are getting all that they need. She keeps them spotless and well fed. |

Congratulations Clara Belle from the Kellys:-) Nothing like a picture of a beautiful new pup! So looking forward to following another litter - am sure they will be gorgeous as always!
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy. I am sure this will be a batch to watch and enjoy as they grow. The majority of the litter are a pound or more in weight already. Clara Belle is producing 'cream' instead of milk because these babes are roly poly!
