DAISY IS DELIVERING!

I was on the porch saying 'Goodbye' to my daughter and family when I heard a squeak.  Lo and behold, there was Daisy on my kitchen floor with her first born still attached to the placenta!  Daisy picked up her little chocolate morsel and proudly pranced down the hall directly to the whelping box!

Now she will stay put and continue her labor.  I will update as pups arrive.

  1. Female, chocolate - 8 1/2 ounces
  2. Male, apricot - 8 5/8 ounces.
  3. Female, cream - 8 1/8 ounces
  4. Female, chocolate - 7  3/4 ounces
  5. Female, cream - 8  1/4 ounces
  6. Female, apricot - 5  5/8 ounces
  7. Female, apricot - 9 ounces
  8. Female, apricot - 8  1/8 ounces
  9. Male, black - 9  3/8 ounces
  10.  Male, black - 10  1/4 ounces

I pray we are done but will wait for about an hour or so to see if any more should make an appearance.  What an amazing job Daisy did.  Ten pups delivered in less than two and a half hours is remarkable.

She had some ice cream in celebration of her brood.  :+)  She is now taking a deserved rest with her babies.

You may be able to see all of them but there are 10 at the moment.  Still not sure if there are more but Daisy seems content and I may be able to clean up and put in new bedding for the rest of the night.  Thank you sweet girl for a daytime delivery!

  4. Seem to be and she is a peanut! Of course, it takes a few days to see how they are gaining, so I am not out of the weeks yet.
