I have begun ENS on the pups. (Daisy x Wyatt)

On each litter produced here at ADNE, the pups go through the Bio Sensor program for 16 days beginning on Day 3 of life.  A brief description of the program is below:

'The "Bio Sensor" program was also concerned with early neurological stimulation in order to give the dog a superior advantage. Its development utilized six exercises which were designed to stimulate the neurological system. Each workout involved handling puppies once each day. The workouts required handling them one at a time while performing a series of five exercises. Listed in order of preference, the handler starts with one pup and stimulates it using each of the five exercises. The handler completes the series from beginning to end before starting with the next pup. The handling of each pup once per day involves the following exercises:
  1. Tactical stimulation (between toes)
  2. Head held erect
  3. Head pointed down
  4. Supine position
  5. Thermal stimulation'
I would like to mention that the 'sixth exercise' is actually the socialization period that is so critical for the life of your pet which is why I require puppy classes in my contract.  :+)

Like all things, some pups gain much from this program while others are not nearly as affected.  I always feel it is worth doing if it can improve any pup to better handle his/her environment.  :+)

  1. I love the ENS and all of the other enrichment you provide for the pups to give them the best start possible.
