Five surgical patients are home! (Daisy x Thaddeus)

They all did very well and the incisions are beautiful - tight, clean and precise.  So far, no one needs a cone due to licking the site but that can change!

I brought each one in individually, gave them some food and water and placed in a crate.  They are crated with a buddy patient.  They are in good spirits but a bit 'ticked off' about not being able to interact together as a group.  It will be a bit 'musical' for a couple of hours.

It is very important to me to have blood work done prior to going under surgery because it can pick up inconsistencies that may prevent surgery.  It is very common for a pup to have low levels of one thing or another due to fasting or not taking up enough water.  I don't worry about 'levels' if my vet is not worried.  YOU don't need to worry either!  Pediatric surgery is very different from adult surgeries.  :+)

Fenris and Ginger are bunking together.

Zoe, Dolly and Molly are sharing a space.

The rest of the crew have their turn tomorrow!
