GUNNY & BOOMER'S LITTER ARE ONE WEEK OLD!

Funny, this morning I was catching up on emails when it hit me - OH MY!  I have pictures to do! With two litters here, it is easy to get caught up in lots of distractions.  Gunny is a caring and doting momma to her 8 babies.  During the next week, she will want more interactions with the other doodles and us.  It won't be long before her pups will be in a separate pen in the pup room.  Space will certainly become a bit crowded when that happens!

Still not much going on with the pups although they are truly learning to move around their pool area!  Gunny remains in the room most of the time - very close to be sure all is well.  A squeak results in an inspection.  :+)

These pics were taken outdoors this morning as it was warm and comfortable with no flash.  I think a number of the apricot colored pups will be caramels!  A caramel color notation is dependent on the color of the nose, paw pads and eyes.  The eye color is a green-hazel blend and their pigment is a brownish shade not black and very evident.  I won't know definitively for another couple of weeks but thought I would mention it.

Also, all these pups are spoken for and I have a guardian home for the one I may keep.  Thank you to everyone who sent in applications, deposits and inquiries!!  :+)

Rocky - male, Grey Collar

Sage - Female, green collar

Coral - Female, coral collar

Sky - Female, blue collar

Fudge - Male, brown collar

Coffee - Female, tan collar

Violet - Female, violet collar

Coal - Male, black/white collar

On another front, we are working on Clary going home by the end of the weekend given Daisy insists on doing most of her duties.  Clary is smart and very happy for all the help.  The pups are also enjoying their gruel so all is falling into place much earlier than normal.  The good thing is Clary is so close, I can get her at any time if a necessity arises.  As long as Daisy is caring and socializing Clary's babies, that is what is most important.  Clary's guardians are beyond excited to have an early home coming for their special girl.  :+)
