I have been creating an 'Adventure Box' for the pups.

An Adventure Box is an 'entertainment' frame that has multiple stimuli that provides texture, noise, softness or harness, tug o'war ability, smell, teething 'rings', etc. solely for the pups to engage in and use up energy.  It is the brainstorm of a company called Avidog and the best thing about it is that you can be as creative as you like by just replacing some of the strings with a different type of stimulus as they age.

Here are some pics of what the pups thought of it:

It was like Disneyland.

There is always one that has to be the 'busy body'.

Plastic bottles are the most fun 'toys'!

They played like this for a long time and Purple Girl was the first one to collapse from exertion and the rest soon followed.  I love that I can keep switching off different strings of 'fun stuff' as they demolish them or need higher entertainment value.

I had a wonderful time in Home Depot building this on their floor as I tried to decide which PVC item to incorporate.  :+)

  1. Very cool Joyce! PVC has so many uses..I made a "candy shop" frame out of if last year for Katie's Birthday. Teal girl has an eye for you..she stared you right in the lens! Very cool that you can actually see the thinking that is going on with the pups in their new adventure box.
